  Hello everyone. I just joined the board. I'm a novice at astrology. My question is how do you use astrology to pick which numbers to play ?

  I can't help you with the astrology prediction process but someone else might be able to.  Your post is in the right place for that.

  Hi Talia:

  I'm a newcomer here, too.  I'm fairly submerged in metaphysics in most aspects of my life, so I was pleased to see a mystical section to this DB.  I've been puzzling over these astrological number predictions, myself.  I don't know much about astrology, so I'll be as interested to see the responses to your thread as I'm able.

  The numbers for the signs come from the planets that rule them. And depending on the Version of Astrology that you use gives you different numbers for the same signs. I use Western Astrology. Blackapple uses Vedec or Hindu Astrology. Here are the Differences.

  Taurus - 2        Venus                              Taurus - 6          Venus

  Gemini - 3        Mercury                           Gemini -  5          Mercury

  Cancer - 4        Moon                                Cancer - 2 - 7  Moon

  Leo -    5            Sun                                    Leo        1 -  4    Sun

  Virgo -  6            Mercury                          Virgo      5              Mercury

  Libra -  7            Venus                              Libra        6              Venus

  Scorpio - 8        Mars                                 Scorpio -  9              Mars

  Sagittarius - 9    Jupiter                            Sagittarius - 3          Jupiter

  Capricorn -10 - 1    Saturn                      Capricorn -  8          Saturn

  Aquarius - 11 - 2    Uranus                      Aquarius - 4 - 8 Saturn /Herschel

  Pisces - 12 - 3      Neptune                      Pisces - 3 - 7  Jupiter / Neptune

  Dell Horoscope Magazine has a self Guidance section in the back. It will tell you what sign is at what time.

  I use Sun - Moon - Day  signs together to make the Astrology numbers. Recently I have started posting the draw time planet numbers. They seem to work well. I hope this helps you .
