At the convience store that I typically go to get my numbers, I had just showed them the ClairCash system on paper. A set of the numbers that came up was 2205. The Cashier there bought it 5 times, straight/box. The next morning, not thinking, he emptied his pockets, took out the trash, with the tickets in it. And of course, it's pick-up day. He won & lost $15,000. We now tease him that we want him to buy a number and toss it so we can win. So, you still think you are doing bad? Sir Metro

Sir Metro Are you saying you went to the convenience store where you buy your tickets, showed the clerk how to win $15,000, he played and you didn't. Sounds like you should be sad that you didn't play too. * that which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

I would definitely call the waste management company and trace what truck dumped it's load at the city dump. Messy and stinky, but well worth the effort.

Here in Oklahoma you get a separate ticket for each number played. Lots of paper... Steve

My apologies, I had made the mistake of assuming everyone had read the same posts I had. Information about the "ClairCash" can be found here http://www.lotterypost.com/thread/132487 The name was assumed to provide appropiate credit to Clairvoyance and Cashman87. I did a spreadsheet and Paurths was kind enough to write and give away a cool little program that followed the idea http://www.sportdienstprovant.be/download/ls/minus12plusn.zip . In GA, when you purchase Straight/Box, you now receive 2 tickets. One for the number BOX and one for the number Straight. I guess this was to let folks be able to collect on the smaller portion of the payout without having to pay taxes on it. I consider that ruther generous that the State would actually develop a way to help the player increase their payout. luckieStarr, the story I told is an honest story, not something I fabricated. And RJOh, I was only sad I didn't have any money that nite to have bought tickets for myself. And for the rest, I personally would have been hunting that garbage truck down for those tickets, no way would I had just shrugged my shoulders like that guy did. Good Luck & Have fun Folks Sir Metro

I think I would be devasted if I threw a $15,000 ticket away. I might find myself at the local dump as well. Dance like no one is watching.

I would imagine as time goes by when the clerk tells that story that amount will be bigger and bigger!
