Yes.. this happened to me too. I fixed it by downloading it when the box comes up and choosing RUN instead of saving it to a file you made. Let it save it to its default location, then it will work. When its done downloading, hit OPEN and you'll be on your way. Thanks for your help . . . But that did not work for me.

Are you using windows XP ? If not, which version? If you already tried downloading it a few times, go into control panel, add/remove programs and find Pick 3 Pirate in the list and uninstall it. Then try it again and pick RUN from the installation popup box when you select the link from the webpage and have it install it in your program file folder. Hope that helps. Don't play more...Play smarter!

I'm running windows Vista. I've never been able to install Pick 3 Pirate - But I checked anyway and it's not there. When you say pick "Run" from the installation popup box....Do you mean "Open". . . .When I go to the download site, the options I see are "open" "Save" and "close"....I don't see "run"

"open" should do the trick. i had to try it at least 5 times to get it to work right. It takes a few seconds or minutes depending on your connection speed-just give it a little time. when it finishes the file will open and you will see Pick3PirateSetup.exe just drag it with your mouse to your desktop and double click it and there you go.

LANTERN You should be able to put this on your flash drive by just copying the folder from your pc's program files straight to it. I think everything you need is there-no external files registry entries etc. For Steve: Thanks for another great proggy! Havnt been able to get it to work with New York yet but you know how tuff NY is. Luck To All jeff Jeff Thanks a lot! You are right it is a portable application, once you copy it elsewhere just unistall it from your Pc and it will work the same as any of Paurth's small programs, I wonder which programming language Steve is using? Thanks again!
