Have you been able to Win: Playing that strategy?

to be honest i havent paid much attention to it in the past.  I just remember seeing someone mention it earlier and the fact that it has happened twice this month, i told myself if it happened a third time i would make sure i atleast played the numbers. So basically i will play straight the "box"on 263 and see what happens.  If any of you who use different strategies can see which number is the best play in the "box" to play i would apprecaiet the words of wisdom.  I also will play 689 and 615 until they come in.

Being in Tampa, do you ever play Front Pair and Back Pair?

To be honest, prior to Jan. 08, I would almost exclusively play FP and BPs.

My win frequency was a heck of a lot higher.

Even though $1 bet only pays out $50.

Your odds are 1 in 100. Better than any other odds in BOXED, STR combos.

My strategy then was to:

#1 Study all the positions (1st, middle and last) and then see what numbers were longest out.

#2 Then play each mixed with another key number that looked good.

#3 Example,

6 in 1st position  (63x, 69x, 61x,)

3 in 2nd posiiton (13x, 93x, 43x,)

1 in 3rd position (x31, x91, x61)

A total of $9 bet for a potential win of $41.00

I would honestly have a WIN at least every 2nd or 3rd night. Sometimes doubling the bet.

But the winnings could only be measured in $30 or $40 bucks.

A win is a win I guess.

I switch to the VTRAC methodology for STR and BOX plays.

Now I see win maybe 1x week or every 10 days or so.

What is needed is a fusion of both methods in some fashion.

well to be honest no i dont play pairs.  Im greedy.  last year i net a little under 12K in my florida lotto dealings (thanks 2907 straight) and this year im up personally on my plays a bit over 6K net.  (thank you 201 on January 2nd!) For a couple of you who i have been emailing back and forth you can attest to the stories, but the last 45 days or so of picks Dave, have been murder on me.  Ive missed in back to back days by 1 number landing play 4.  In a 6 span day i hit 4 of 5 in fantasy 5 twice, and i ended up landing a $1 straight on 2273 back about 6 weeks ago.  Let me be the first to say that any other day i would have been happy to win $5,000 but to this day im still sick to my stomach.  Why?  Well because i was so sure that 2273 was goign to land the day before that i dropped $20 on it.  So when it didnt land i said "$what a $!$$%% of $20", and i played a token $1 on it the next day and....  damnit it hits.  Big difference between $20 and $1.  I still managed a smile when i got the 5k check though  

I tend to play certain numbers with what i would call larger wagers (atleast triple what i play the lowest for the day so a typical heavy is 2-5).  But if i played pairs i can see how i would have made some additional money.  In the last week i missed on 3584 (played $5 on 3586 straight).  then out of bitterness, ive been playing 3728 religiously and switched it to 3724 and even boxed it.  So what hits? 7325.  We all have these stories but i like to see what goes on in these boards.  Ive been pretty dedicated to the numbers.  I tend to look back at history over the last 5 years and a 2 week span and look for the numbers that have had the greatest frequency.  It seems a lot of people have won here in the tampa area off and on so i usually have great conversations with people at convenience stores that give great insight.

  I do love 615, and played 689 already.  I also played 623 straight and played all the combos of the box for $1 just so i wont kick myself tomorrow if for some reason it lands.  Just by the quirkiness of the way the numbers have fallen i will play a box of 263 with the 4 added in on play 4.  probably 2463.  No reason, just because.

I probably will stop playing play4 soon given the frustration ive had with it over the last fwe weeks.  Close is bad.  And although the prize is larger, in cash 3 you dont have to deal with the tax aspect of it all. 

Someone had asked me if i play all the numbers i post.  The answer is heck no.  The majority of numbers i post are for all states and are based on me honestly looking at the patterns from the 5 states ive lived in and i just post those numbers.  The only numbers i am focused solely for florida on are generally the numbers i repeat.  Again means absolutely nothing cause im not picking any better than 99% of people on here.  I guess maybe i feel im having more near misses.  Near misses are just as worthless though.

i like 615, 689, 623 on cash 3 and played a bunch of smaller .50 cent straight plays on 5 other numbers ive been tracking (227 319 being two of them)

and for what it is worth on play 4 i really like 2911(florida as well as multistate play) and will play 2463 for poops and giggles.  It would not shock me at all to see a double in play 4 tonight.

Dave keep up the great work.  The vtrac thing makes me feel better on my 615 choice over the last 3 weeks.

About 3 years ago I had dabbled in the Play 4 due to a friends advice.

He was giving me his best picks to play each evening.

For 2 weeks I tried and tried and couldn't even come close to a 24 way box hit.

Then one night I put $2 on a number that he kept telling me would hit.

Little did I realize that I played it STR8 and not boxed as I intended to.

The next morning I saw on the internet that number came up. I was briefly excited thinking I had hit 2 tickets with a 24 way box hit.

However, when I pulled out the ticket and discovered they were both STR8. I am almost fell over.

Night after night for 6 months, I would just dream of that morning.

Wisely, I did put most of the money away.

Tried Play 4 for another year with little or no success.

So, that is why I went back to CASH 3.

Figuring that morning was my one BIG lucky time for hitting big.

That's why I rarely focus on STR CASH 3 plays.

But at the beginning of the month I hit for $2500 playing 5x. Just pure luck is all it is.

there are a cycle in Play 4 using Vtract or i prefer number groupping, in this case 5 number groups.

the 24-way vtract or group pattern 1234 1235 1245 1345 2345 and each pattern have 16 tickets so total group have 80 numbers. 

well to achieve str8 hit in pick4 it need a skill (reading the trend) and of course little luck :) you may use Expert Lotto, LotSoftPro which both must have software when anyone like to create a "combos" alert but if looking for instant results anyone will have a challenge since it need to read the stats :)
