Thanks RJOh!
Interesting numbers. I'm probably going to make a few changes to my picks.
By the way, the most numbers I've ever hit out of 17 was 4 and that was only
one time. So people beware of my picks. They probably aren't that great!!
Just curious - Any reason why you would pick the number 10?
Good Luck!
LottoL 10 was in the second group along with 10 other numbers. I'll be picking 20 combinations from that pool using some other parameters so it's possible 10 won't make the final cut. I will also have a pool of 30 numbers for my mega number picks, I know at least 10 of those numbers won't make the final cut.
I'm just picking my combinations from a 5/39+1/30 pool instead of a 5/56+1/46 pool and gambling that all the winning numbers are in both pools. * Trying is the first step toward failure *

Guesser,
For Tuesday, 4/1 Megamillions draw, my best three numbers are 6 - 24 - 28. Based on my analysis, these three numbers can be part of the winning ball set or the megaball set as I do not differentiate between the two.
Just curious, based on your analysis, would you eliminate these numbers or keep them?
If you kept all three, which one number would be your favorite white ball and which one number would you select as a megaball?
Thanks,
LottoL I would not know, Powerball is all I do. That, and give another member on here a hard time because they are a lunatic.
Like any game of chance, sometimes you do well, most of the time you don't, but you can't win if you don't play.

I'm starting to think that putting all your energy and thoughts toward one game is the best way to go. Lottery games share similarities, but each had their own characteristics and covering several at the same can be confuse and blur ones' focus. * Trying is the first step toward failure *

This is my pool of numbers:
01 03 04 05 07 08 10 11 12 13 14 15 17 19 22 23 25 26 27 28 30 33 35 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 47 48 50 52 53 55 56
Actually all the 56 numbers were in four groups (similar to tiers) but I combined the top two groups into one. Tonight's winning numbers were 04 17 26 46 56 +25. All but the number 46 was in my pool and I didn't win anything. Since all the red numbers were in the top group, maybe next time I will just use the top group which should reduce my pool by another 10-15 numbers. * Trying is the first step toward failure *

Too bad you didn't win anything - I was hoping you would hit.
If you want to reduce your numbers, just use mine...1 out of 17 - I guess that's par for the
course for me, especially when a repeat number occurs.
Way back when,
You told me that 50% of the time 5 numbers are drawn in the previous 15 drawings.
That sure came true tonight: 26-repeat, 17-out 2, 4-out 5, 56-out 7, and 46-out 14.
You were right on!
Based on my analysis for the next MM draw:
TIER 1 numbers (Repeats - Out 0):
56 - 17 - 26 - 04 - 46
TIER 2 numbers (Out 1 - 6):
Lot 1: 27 - 40 - 07 - 43
Lot 2: 53 - 42 - 48 - 38
Lot 3: 08 - 05 - 41 - 19
Lot 4: 20 - 13 - 44 - 15 - 25
Lot 5: 03 - 12 - 18 - 52
Lot 6: 47 - 35
TIER 3 numbers (Out 7 - 14):
Lot 1: 32 - 33
Lot 2: 30
Lot 3: 55 - 22
Lot 4: 09 - 36
Lot 5: none
Lot 6: 01
Lot 7: 11
Lot 8: 39 - 14 - 50
TIER 4 numbers (Out 15 - 23):
Lot 1: 21
Lot 2: 51
Lot 3: none
Lot 4: 23
Lot 5: none
Lot 6: none
Lot 7: none
Lot 8: none
Lot 9: 45
TIER 5 numbers (Out 24 - 33):
Lot 1: 29 - 10 - 54
Lot 2: 24 - 31
Lot 3: 16
Lot 4: 28 - 02
Lot 5: 37
Lot 6: none
Lot 7: 49
Lot 8: none
Lot 9: 06
Lot 10: none
TIER 6 numbers (Out 34 +):
Lot 1: 34 (out 43 draws)
(There is an abnormally high amount of numbers in TIER 5 (11 numbers)
RJOh, DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVORITES IN THIS TIER?
Good Luck!

Way back when,
You told me that 50% of the time 5 numbers are drawn in the previous 15 drawings.
If I said that then I was wrong. (for MegaMillions only) Since the last matrix change 50% of the time 5 numbers have been drawn in the previous 22 drawings, only 20% of the time has 5 numbers been drawn in the previous 15 drawings. However, 60% of the time 4 of the 5 numbers have been drawn in the previous 15 drawings.
Now that the jackpot has reset, I'm going to take some time and re-evaluate how I picked those numbers for my pool, I still need to get the pool smaller and still have all the winning numbers. * Trying is the first step toward failure *

the lottery wont let you win a huge amount of money in powerball or mega million withouth making it very difficult to win. i know what 1 in 100 million mean. it means if you take 100 million $1 doller bills stacked up including just one fake one, your odds of knowing where the fake one is 1 in 100 million. you know how hard that is?

Thanks for the update!
If I was picking from a pool of numbers, these would be my selections for Fridays 4/4/08 MM draw.
Remember, last time I just got 1 out of 17 . . . so beware!
First off, I'm not playing repeats.
1st Number Possibilities -> 10 - 29 - 54
2nd Number Possibilities -> 02 - 16 - 28
3rd Number Possibilities -> 45 - 49
4th Number Possibilities -> 09 - 14 - 22 - 30 - 32 - 36 - 50 - 55
5th Number Possibilities -> 05 - 12 - 15 - 18 - 19 - 20 - 25 - 35 - 38 - 40 - 42 - 44 - 48 - 52
MB -> 04 - 28 (Only because they haven't been hit in a while).
My best numbers would be those in red.
Best Of Luck!
