Jackpot History Parsing Question

Does anyone make copies of LP's jackpot drawing histories like the one below, then paste them into Notepad and manually delete everything but the actual ball numbers so they can be better analyzed?

Is anyone doing this or is it just me?

I've done that using Notepad but I use "find and replace" to edit out words like the days,Powerball and Power Play and replace the dash with a common and the month with a number and then save it all as a text file.

The above becomes:

03,22,2008,07,25,28,46,48,19,3

Then I write a 10 line Basic program that read the above line as a record as follows:

MO$,DA$,YR$,N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N7,NT$

and write that data to a file that my regular program can read.  When I'm looking at a six digit number I also include N6, N7 is always a bonus number and NT$ is a three characters note in my regular program which have the file structure as follow.

MO$,DA$,YR$,N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N6,N7,NT$ + line feed

**Note  NT$ can also be use for jackpot amount

Well, I was just fishing to see if players needed a parser or not. I guess not.

It comes in handy for me, anyway.
