Do I have to start posting winning tickets again? Nah, research it.

Don't tell me how I am allowed to speak or who I believe is a member. IMO, if someone signs up they are member. You want to believe that there has never been a big jackpot winner or there will never be one who is a member here, then go ahead. I know there has been and there will probably be one. Just because they don't announce it doesn't make it not true.
ETA: and KyFloyd, I deleted my post to you because it really isn't worth the bother. I state frankly that I disagree with you and really, it was a simple post that didn't need any mathematical equations to go with it.
P.S.
I have a guaranteed hit for $300, $600, $1,200, file a tax return. What is your conceptual continuity? __________________________________________________

"Nonsense by Catlin. None of the Quick Picks make any attempt to checkwhat was previously issued before generating your tickets. ..."
A little background info on Catlin, from the back cover of the book:
Don Catlin, professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, knows his way around the numbers. He has worked for the government designing submarine guidance systems, he's been a consultant to the casino industry concerning game design and results, and he's a regular colunmnist for scoblete.com. Don Catlin is also a player. He knows the thrills involved in challenging chance.
Emeritus means he is old enough to know better. I have no doubt he is steeped in casino math and likely makes the classic mistake of applying casino thought processes to the lottery.
Where does the book describe his lottery experience? When have we known the lottery employees to be knowledgable about lottery playing strategies?
Maybe he knows something we don't:
"...he's been a consultant to the casino industry concerning game design and results,"
And I have no doubt whatsoever that he or people like him are working for the lotteries.
They consult when new games are up for consideration. Just like they do for a casino, they determine whether the game matrix and prize matrix have weak spots that would allow a player even a slight advantage. The ability to structure the game's odds and payouts allows the house to guarantee only blind luck will allow players to win big.
The big difference between lottery and casino games is you only need to win once. The other is we decide how many numbers to play. The simple act of wheeling 9 numbers reduces the odds of a 6/49 game from 1 in 13.9 million to 1 in 166,474 thousand. Where can you do that in a casino?
I'm not sure that the lottery terminals spit out yet to be played combinations or not, but let's face it, the technology to do so exists.
Yes it does, if the lottery is going to connect every terminal to a dedicated high speed line to a bank of servers only to reduce their rollovers and hurt business. I don't see it happening with the current games. The closest we get is the rolldown. BobP

psykomo
It's a 2003 publication date.
In fact, on p 53 the author stated that "in the future a psykomo will give out disinformation about quick picks"....

I never said anything about any LP member. I specifially said this forum.
So i am going to tell you to learn how to read before you try to quote someone!
I clearly made it a fact that noone sitting in this forum (post), which are all the people here arguaing about whether or not if they are going to hit a jackpot.
If you need to sit here and argue that you are going to hit a JP without already doing so, ill throw 1000 to your 1 that you NEVER DO!

And you know this how? There are over 50,000 members on this board and not all of them post. How do you know none of them havn't already won a jackpot or will in the future? i was just wondering if there are any states that participate in the pwerball or mega millions that didnt produce a winning jackpot yet. Just for the simple fact that 50,000 people would be only a small small city. more like a town, but anyway, thats just 1 part of the state not including the whole state, that has 50 times that and still no winner?

I'm not going to argue with you because you aren't very bright and I am not going to waste my time. Listen and learn: YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT EVERY MEMBER HAS WON AND NOT WON. Do you understand? Can you grasp that through your head? My guess, probably not.

Actually, you did tell me what to do by saying "don't". So you might want to go back to school and get some learnings. Also look at my post above I did quote you, so you can stop your lies as well. Oh and go ahead and keep posting to me. You've already proven that you don't read other people's posts and you don't know what you're talking about. Go ahead and continue making a fool out of yourself.

"Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?" "The same thing we do every night, Pinky- try to take over the world."

You do realize that this is a message board and one doesn't have to be online to be able to actually respond to them right? Do you purposley make comments like this to bait people?
