How To Make Your Own Puzzle (p3 or P4)

Anyone can make their own puzzle for their state's pick 3 or pick 4 draw.  Use vtracs to get your "puzzle".

Click on vtrac results and look up the draws for 1 (ONE PARTICULAR DAY-ONLY)..DON'T MIX THEM.  For example, if you are playing on Sunday-ONLY USE SUNDAY'S RESULTS.

You only need about 12 to 15 results.   Line them up like this.

Across the top of your paper, you will put the following:

• V-1              V-2             V-3

Along the side, you will put

5.

you then count each vtrac in that particular position and put it next to the vtrac it belongs to and under the position it fell in.  When you finish with all, get the TOP THREE in each position and that is your puzzle. it will look something like this:

432  541  512.

Then you just substitute the number for the vtrac always using 2 numbers to represent each vtrac..

When you get ready to write them out, go left to right.  you will put all first positions-1st, all second positons-2nd and all third positions, third. Example using data from above:

• 38 49 49
• 27 38 05
• 16 05 16

For Pic 4, just add the fourth position and label it V-4. Follow the same directions.  Hope this will help someone.

Could you give an example using today's results to help get us started?

It has to be state specific.  So I need a state where the number hasn't fallen for this evening yet.  Let's use Ga.  Give me a few minutes.

you would wind up with:

 321  214  432

Which would give you:

• 27 16 38
• 16 05 27
• 05 38 16............NOTE:  in the third set of vtracs (432), you also can have 435.

So in your puzzle just substitue 4,9 for the last (1,6). 

You only have to moniter this about 1-2 times per month.  It will change about every 45 days.

For those who do not use Vtrac's regularly, there is a conversion chart or mirror code for Vtracs.

Vtracs V1, V2, V3, V4, V5.

V1 = 0, 5
V2 = 1, 6
V3 = 2, 7
V4 = 3, 8
V5 = 4, 9

I guess I am lost. Pick-3 was  717 tonight.  Pick-4 was 6351.  I understand adding 5 to each no. But don't understand the rest? You have 2 no.s for each no.   like 7  is 2 and how you get other no. Please explain. Thanks

717 is the vtrac 323.  Which has 8 parts but to save money, I use 6 parts..  221,271,226,771,276, and 776.

vtracs:

1=0,5

2-1,6

3=2,7

4=3,8

5=4,9

The system you are talking about on V have to be a gold or platium member. Still don't understand how you get 323 for the vtrac? Sorry to be just a pain. Thanks
