I can appreciate efforts to send a message, or possibly change the status quo, but voting for a 3rd party candidate sends a small mesage, but often has a huge effect that usually goes against the hopes of those voting. In 1980 when Reagan was the clear front runner and NY was almost certainly going  for Mondale I voted for Barry Commoner. It may have sent a small message, but my  vote had less chance of changing the outcome of the actual election than my ticket had of winning the lottery. Love them of hate them, Bush and Nader are the ultimate example of when not to vote for a thrid party candidate, because there's really no question that Nader cost Gore the Florida vote.  If Nader opposes Bush and is truly pro-consumer he wouldn't be trying to screw up yet another election by throwing his pathetic hat in the ring.

I also though that Mrs. Clinton seemed like the best choice. She really seemed very resonable and had some good ideas. The same can not be said about Obama. Mccain can't inspire the base of his party and his funding shows that. Looks like this election will be a referendum on Obama and considering his friends that really worries me.

Obama's associations worry me a lot.

I did not and would not vote for Ralph "we should all live in a bubble to be safe" Nader, nor would I have voted for Bush the first time around (just as I didn't the second time either) but I sure as hell wouldn't vote for Al Gore or John Kerry. Ralph Nader is going to be a huge non-factor this time around since most of his followers have either grown up or have a new favorite in Obama. Personally, I would love to see what would have happened in those first four years if Al Gore would have won, maybe things might have been better but as far as we know things could have also been a lot worse.

Yeah, Hilary has a lot of "good ideas" like a typical politician, she'll say anything or do anything to get elected and are always full of crap. Her position changes with whatever polls say for that day or area she's in and when things aren't going their (that's counting Bill and Hilary) way or being called on something, then the only option is to whine about it, it's harder now days to try and revise history, which makes her even less effective. The only time she has had a firm stance on anything is when she's being paid to. Her calling upon experience is a joke also, just because she was first lady in the White House or Arkansas of all places, doesn't make her qualified. Just because she's been in the Senate for a whole seven years, a big four years before Obama assumed office as a US Senator, but then he also was a state Senator for seven years before that. Too bad Obama though is all flash and no substance politically, he's been there for three years and hasn't done much of anything and what little he has done is not that much different vote-wise from Hilary, at least from the times he actually took a stance on something and voted. The only reason he's so popular is because he's considered an outsider and to a point, he is considering the long histories McCain and the Clintons have. His call of "change" makes for a nice bumper sticker and slogan but that's it, with the climate of Washington nothing is really going to change and come this November I'll guarantee more skeletons will come out of the closet and haunt him and his campaign.. As for John McCain, he has become just another pandering tool kneeling at the altar of the far right but even if he wasn't he's still not someone I would vote for.

No matter who wins, we're still going to lose, the only question is "how much". I find it very insulting for someone to say I'm "throwing away my vote" for not voting for Democrat or Republican, I won't vote for who I believe to be the lesser of two evils, I'd rather just not vote than do that. I've said it before but Washington DC needs a political enema and after that, then the states and then it's the local government's turn. Our government is no longer a government for the people by the people (and hasn't been for decades), it's a government of whomever has the money to buy of a senator or two while pandering to the little people with BS legislation that has no chance of actually getting passed or pointless resolutions.

I really don't care about online casino games but if I could subscribe to any states lottery games I would subscribe to the Fla online game and buy Mass scratchers.
