A long time ago I did a complete probability spreadsheet on the 6/49 matrix lottery. The file was rather large - took (if I remember correctly) 5 CD-ROMs to hold all of the data.
Anyway, somewhere around the 35%-40% range of total possibilities, the probability of having one drawing of - or already having drawn - a set of numbers being an exact duplicate of one of the previously drawn sets reaches the 1::1 mark. Determining which set will appear twice is still up to the bettor. And the number of drawings necessary to give even odds of producing all possible drawings is way out there - exponentially far beyond the total possibilities. Blessed Saint Leibowitz, keep 'em dreamin' down there.....
Next week's convention for Psychics and Prognosticators has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Stew12 , did you think that was funny or were you making fun of me and my poor attempt at a joke ? It was my understanding that this was a forum for people to get to know each other and one's sense of humor is a very great part of the whole person . IF my attempt at a joke and a bit of fun caused anyone to lose out on a win , I apologize and will make sure and call the Fat Girl and apologize to her too . You can get too serious you know and nothing, even a big win and all that money can buy you a laugh . When we stop laughing in this life, we may as well be dead !!!!

PUMPI76, I've always loved math , but if it would help me win I'd start back as soon as I could . However, when I think how many genious mathmathicians there are out there working as professors in a school for what could be called "peanuts' compared to what they could win , it makes me wonder if there really is a way to beat the lottery . BESIDES LUCK !!!! i believe the same thing too...I am with you on that one..

We are probably just a bunch of wankers thinking we can beat the lotteries.
The mathematical academics and the lottery companies are laughing at us just as we speak.

The mathematical academics and the lottery companies are laughing at us just as we speak. Pick 5 or pick 6 lotteries are big dreams. But think about this;
The lowest of them all, pick 2 of 10 numbers or pick 3 of ten? Can you or anyone you know beat them?
The money comes from selling a system or a 'how to win book'.
Or maybe just being real lucky!!
IMO
ez ........ in the long run........

although pick 5 or pick 6 little bit hard, it took patience and little luck to get the jackpot for example Florida Fantasy 5

unfortunately it took more research to reduce the jackpot into very-2 affordable tickets to plays one tickets to play
and here are some tools to playing around with pick 5 or pick 6
it take alot of patience and xyz attempt. of course little bit luck.
well good luck

I did. I was a stats/math major before dropping out. Now I'm 23, I might go back again but probably not. Lottery math is interesting but when calculating the probability of a large lottery (i.e. Powerball) it makes you not even want to play.
