Buying hundreds of dollars worth of QPs would only help your odds in PIck 3. And it would pretty much assure you that if you got the hit, you would have spent more than what you won. So you would have lost.

In jackpot games, do the math. If there are more than a million possible combinations, and you buy one QP then your odds are 1 in a million or so....Buy a few hundred and how much does that help? It really doesn't. It may get you more of the lower tier prizes, but likely not enough to cover what you spent.

THe only thing buying hundreds of QPs on one drawing does is make the person feel like they have helped their odds.

Life is short. So PAY ATTENTION !
