This is kind of strange. This just happened to be for a Pick 5 game, but it's not about any particular game as much as RNGs or just coinicidence.

I played these numbers today at a convenience store at 2:19 in the afternnoon:

16  21  24  29  39

Then I played a QP for the same game at a grocery store five miles from there at 2:40. Thsi was the QP:

06  20  24  28  38

The first ticket was numbers I picked, the secind ticket was a quick pick.

Weird, no?

Oh- the drawing?

1  4  9  11  13

What am I missing?

I see 2 different combinations.

Okay - what you are saying is that there is a 1 in front of the 6.  Then, except for the number 24 (which adds up to 6) the others are all +1.

Tonight I got a Fantasy 5, but instead of numbers I got 5 letters  L-O-S-E-R    Crying

Comparuing the two tickets:

16  21  24  29  39

06  20  24  28  38

gives a variance of

10   1   X   1   1

(X= same) between the two- purchases 20 minutes and five miles apart.

Considering 575, 757 possible coimbinations, I think that's kind of strange.

Yep that is the only combination that is plus 10, plus 1, same, plus 1, and plus 1. Had you bought a third ticket and it was plus 11, plus 2, same, plus 2, and plus 2 that would be weird, but all I see is comparing the numbers on two tickets.

Well personally I thought it was weird and still do.

It was as if the lotto machine that spits out the tickets "read" the ticket in my pocklet and then gave me the second one.

A couple of years ago, I played a QP in the same place in a neighboring town two days in a row, and those two tickets were identical except for one number- and that was only off by one digit. I thought that was weird, too.

OK, this was yesterday, these tickets were played at the same time - two different games!:

Little Lotto (Pick 5, my numbers):

05  12  17  25  27

Lotto (Pick 6) QP:

02  12  17  25  47  50  QP
