Yesterday I bought two MM easy picks and the woman at the counter asked if I wanted them seperate or on the same ticket. That was the second time I was asked that in a row by two different people there so I took them seperately and made a comment on how they seemed to always share a lot of numbers when bought there. Apparently I wasn't the only one that noticed how there seemed to be more duplicate numbers from multiple easy picks on the same ticket than if they were seperate because someone else bought their tickets that way after noticing that as well. So it wasn't just me....

Their machine seems to have a thing for the number 11 for the white balls. Of the last eight plays I've bought there five of them had 11. Sometimes it's worse and more than one number is repeated.

With odds like 1 in 175,711,536 how can I lose?!

I don't think the two Lottery strands having one number match from two different sources is weird at all.

I am not saying that I am right...or claiming to be a Guru...but..

I am in a pool at work, where everyone picks thier own numbers. now...it is not uncommon for a number to be selected by two or more players, for the same draw.

not sure what the odds are on it happened (never bothered to calculate it, just know it happens almost every draw.

Just bought two MM tickets tonight, about 10 miles and 15 minutes apart and they share three numbers though one ticket has it as a Mega Ball number. One of the other numbers is 20, which has already come up in the last two drawings and to make it better it's followed by 21 on the first ticket. Bang Head I guess the bright side is that the most recent instance of any of the numbers being together in any kind of combination for a winner was five months ago, with the "best" combo being five years old.
