Curious about rules on selling lotto tickets

I was wondering if there are any rules that would allow a lottery agency or retailer from selling an individual lottery tickets.  This is purely hypothetical as of right now.   I was just thinking about when I win a huge jackpot could a retailer or agency stop selling you tickets?   Many people including past lotto winners have said they will continue to play.   I would be ready for the looks I would draw when I bought tickets after my win.   The reason I asked is because I have to gone to Las Vegas and started playing blackjack only to have the table "closed down" when I hit a good run.    If anyone has any info I would love to know!  Thanks

I don't know why a retailer would do such a thing because they get a bonus if they sell a jackpot winning ticket.

If you won the Lottery, I can see no reason why the retailer would not continue to sell you lottery tickets.

Even if they did, I am sure there are other retailers that would be happy to take your money.

If you were to hit a jackpot again, (odds are really against it) it would be better for the retailer as his/her establishment would go down as having mutilple winners, which in turn would in and of itself help sales.

I assume by huge jackpots, you're talking about more than the top prizes in a pick3 or pick4 game.   

With so many lottery retailers around why would you care?  Now maybe if you won more huge jackpots than there were retailers selling tickets in your area then you might have a point but I'm sure the lottery itself would be checking you out at that point.

There should be no problem playing and winning your state lottery as much as you would like. The only exception would be if you were an insider or cheating the lottery by manipulating the outcome from within (for example if you worked for the lottery and modified the computer program).

Las Vegas is different than state lotteries. For example, with blackjack there are "systems" that give the player an advantage, such as card counting, and consistent winners suspected of card counting are banned from the casinos. Their pictures are posted in the infamous Griffin Book whose information is shared by casinos throughout the gaming industry.

Your state lottery is much more of a random event and consistent "systems" where you win more than you lose over time do not exist. The only people than win more than they spend in the long run are the "lucky" players who hit big jackpots.

Also, I once heard that a Las Vegas casino's definition of a cheater is someone who wins too much too often...
