I was looking at the jackpots of the world and noticed the Italian Superenalotto with a high prize (64M Euro) and looked into it. It's a 6 of 90 game. That means the odds are 1 in 622 million. Helps to put even Megamillions into perspective although once you pass 1:1 million it's all very unlikely. You get two tries for 1 Euro but even with that I can't imagine a game with worse odds. Even Keno and slots look good by comparison.

Thats one of those games where you just play 1 Euro just to be in it, and thats it..

Holy @#$!..... Seriously though, even though I know that you have a better chance of hitting the PB or the MM, isn't there a point where a xxxxxxxxx:1,000,000 chance and a xxxxxxxxx:64,000,000 chance just really doesn't make much of difference? To me it's kind of like asking if you want your pizza cut in 8 slices or 12 slices.Thud

With that kind of odds no systems can beat it. Leaving luck to do all the work.

But it won't be long at all beforel someone says they've developed one!

They'll probably join here with a username like Euro622 or something, and in their first post tell us all about their "system".

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

                  those odds are terrible! Dunk

I guess the prize is so great that most people ignore the fact they have such a small chance of winning and buy into it anyway!

That's probably true of any lotteries that offer a jackpot of more than a million dollars, and they all have customers eager to play.  Some customers want to play so bad that if they aren't available in their area, they will travel out of state to buy tickets or pay a fee to have someone buy tickets for them.

                    * you don't need more tickets, just the right ticket *
                    * your best chance to win a lottery jackpot is to buy a ticket *

C'mon, that's our entertainmant, around here. LOL

Someone shows up announcing a new "system" and some people fall over each other asking about it. The rest of us are like the muppet judges. Hilarity ensues.
