Just noticed....770 and 174 are both Never ever hit straights in WC ......along with TC's 854 and 584

There are now only 15 never hits left..... expected hit rate from that group of 15 straights from this point on is 5.4 per year......every 67 days.

 How long has it been .......since that last never hit straight hit when only 16 never hits existed ? When did the last straight (number 16) hit by the way? 

 Hmmm.... not that any of these numbers even own a watch. LOL

Just noticed .......that5.4 figure turns out to be pretty close to Real World hit rate.  Last year...or 365 draws ago there were 20 of the NO Hits left standing at that time.....so now there are only 15 left.  Average 5 per year.....  right? About right on that 67 day.....(average)

 Still ...when was the last one of those 5 hit?

just wondering where you're getting your WC draw results from? 

I use Versabet and it's been pretty accurate with results. I'm sure over the years some state/province might have an error but all looks good for WC according to Versabet.

174 straight hit 3 times..........last was 5779 draws  ago in 1996.

770 straight 3 times...last was 4270 draws back in 2000.

the 046 that eluded my grasp last year was the only straight combination that never ever hit in WC history. it finally came out on the 6918 draw.

the 854 has hit once way back in 1993.

total draws are now at 7017 for WC.

went back 1 year to check on the back to back pair strategy. out of 41 opportunities it hit 7 times.

WC gave us straights 064 and 460 before the never hit 046 came in last year.

might we see a different permutation of the 854 before it shows up?   

p.s. no back to back tonight......................2-7-1.
