Nice going with the numbers. What does FP stands for? Friendly picks? Fast pick? Forever pick?...

Thanks diamondpalace! FP stands for Free Play, which is how NY Lottery lists it when you hit 2 numbers, you win a Free Play.  If you buy a Quick Pick they then call it QP.  On there web site they list next to the winners by QP or FP or nothing - which means you picked your own numbers.  It is interesting to see that there are more FP's & QP's for winners than picking your own, which is why I am playing QP's alot!

NYC have a high population, would not be surprised people are into QP's as selecting own numbers do take time. QP also tends to bounce around within all the possible combinations, which hit or misses the jackpots. If you can afford it, try playing with your number and a QP, $1 each to see how well you can do with your selections. QP and FP is 2 to 1 Self Picks. Bu that's not a real accuratecy, with 100 people perhaps 90 are playing QP...and with those 90 QP, and 10 self picks there will be many FP. There will be more winners in QP and FP. :)

I think it is also good to play self picks as QP and FP are accessible. When having a self made metod there is a higher chance of hitting the jackpot multiple times. Good luck!

Yes, this one have a good shot! Do you only play with $1 QP? I usually play with $1 self-pick, and if I win extra I include the extra $1 for QP. Opposite. :)

I play the following numbers as normal numbers

1 6 9 21 25

2 4 8 27 39

5 8 13 18 39

then add the qp's 

and thanks to the 1 & 9 last night got a FP 

7 8 11 17 37

Thanks to the 2 & 39 last night I won a Free Play

8 14 16 27 30

and bought a qp

14 18 27 32 38

$$$$$$ hit for $17.50 last night on

6 9 25 from my numbers

so....

my numbers... 2 hits $38.00

qp/fp's ----- 1 hit $19.00

and since qp's are behind I bought one more for tonight
