This afternoon I stopped by the store where I normally buy my lottery tickets, and found out that they sold a NJ Pick 6 ticket worth $2.5 million on Dec. 29th. Very cool! The NJ Lottery sent them a letter of congratulations, which they have out on the counter. The clerk didn't think that the ticket was claimed yet. I checked the NJ site and they didn't have a press release for the winner, so I guess they're still out there. (No, it wasn't me; I wish it was!)

Makes your heart stop for a minute, doesn't it. It happened to me when the store that I purchased my tickets at, Red Rocket in Fort Mill, SC, sold a Powerball ticket worth $88 Million dollars. Very exciting to know you picked a winning store, even though it wasn't you that time!! Love, peace and abundant blessings!!

Since the person has not yet claimed the prize it's fun to imagine.

Todd- I think it was actually a $3.5M jackpot on 12/29. I saw the actual prize printout from the lottery machine for the drawing, and I recall seeing something like "25xxxxx". Perhaps there were two winners, and it was showing the half-prize amount. NJ does that when there is more than one winner.

You know, I have actually thought of this. Since I am still quite a newbie, I would probably go to the library and sign in under a new different name and make a quick post. Basically, just to let people know that someone from the site did win a big one. And maybe try to get some advice too (again, being a newbie).
