Just heard on the news that Barney Franks is going to introduce a bill to restore online gaming in the US...that would be nice. Hope there are no strings attached.

They might want to regulate it, tax it and whatever just like they do with any bussines here on the U.S. we still would not be able to gamble anywhere on line only at those places that are approved, taxed and whatever, that is if the stuff goes thru. Those places then might charge more money for gambling with them and pay less.

If they are taxing it, it would only to the winners when won a prize over certain amount, like we do here with retails. Allowing online bets is very convenience, and the option to play different states.

The Internet might not be an open gambling place they will say where you can gamble at and where not at, they might ban the pick 3, 4 lottery places as they compete with the states, maybe, they are not doing away with the prohibition they will just regulate it as they want to. We will just have to wait and see what really happens if anything at all.

This is interesting, I wonder how this will play out. Anything is yours, if you only want it hard enough. Just think of it. ANYTHING. Try IT. You will succeed.

TAXES - That's all they want. Let me rephrase that - they want MORE TAXES. LoL! I don't know why they passed a law against it in the first place, didn't the Republicans wanted less Government involvement? Mmmmmm....... that's not less -- it was more. If they do repeal the law, expect taxes. Do I sound like I'm an old 33.3 record on a skip? LOL!!! Would be nice, using the CC to place a bet. Mind you I wouldn't use my bank card, but one of those reloaders that they can steal the 100. I would have on it. Perfect place for hackers to get information and steal out of your account.
I wonder if they will be private concerns or would it be the State operation? More money for the State?? I hope it comes soon, losing money when I can't place my bets. Should we push it and write our Reps?

your exactly right.in fact it may be better the way it is now then it would be later if all this legislation took place.we must be careful what we wish for because sometimes it might not be what it seems.
