We were in the grocery store where we buy most of our lotto tickets and I asked for a MM QP. The clerk asked another clerk, "Are we still trying to sell this ticket?" and showed me a ticket with no numbers printed on it but a bar code. She said the printer goofed and you can scan it with the bar code after the drawing, but I passed on that one. What would you have done? Could you stand having a ticket with no numbers on it? (I've never seen this before). It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery! Close doesn't count! I think I would want to see my numbers so I could check on line to see if I won or not. "Don't Give Up.Don't Ever Give Up" Jim Valvano ex N.C.State basketball coach

I would probably have passed because I usually don't buy mistake tickets. But also, I would like to know what numbers are actually printed on the ticket as well. "No one remembers the person who almost climbed the mountain, only the person who eventually gets to the top." ThatScaryChick

That is a strange one, perhaps it is a golden mysterious ticket that will win!!! But I would ask for another one instead of taking it. That just leaves room for inconvenience.

Quite simply. NO IT would not pass the valid ticket authorization test in my state. Would need the store machine number, ticket# and various other information to be claimed as legitimate. I had a ticket one time from the automated machines (BIG MISTAKE!!) That cut off the tickets half way...didnt have the bar and was missing half the numbers from the five$ QP. I was livid! The machine had a nice sign that said Not responsible for malfunctions of machine. ________________________________ Wanna Make God laugh? ..Tell him your plans.

The store should have tossed the misfit and absorbed the cost. That's a hot one, trying to sell a ticket with no numbers.

My experience has been when the machine doesn't print some of the combination numbers, it also doesn't print some of the bar code. I bought a tickets like that the other day and when I returned to cash it, the machine couldn't read it. Fortunately the ticket numbers were clear enough for the clerk to punch them in by hand and I got my $3. I knew what my numbers were suppose to be because I make out a play slip but didn't noticed some numbers weren't printed until I checked my tickets later or I would have never accepted them. * that which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

Not strange really takes about that to get the numbers on line here in Ohio. Ohio doesn't put up drawings results until they've figured out if there were winners and the payout amounts. If you just want to know the numbers, LP, <snip> and LottoUSA are faster.
