David Carradine (born John Arthur Carradine, December 8, 1936 - June 3, 2009) was an American actor, best known for his work in the 1970's television series Kung Fu and more recently in the movie Kill Bill. He appeared in more than 100 feature films and was nominated four times for a Golden Globe Award. He was 72 years old and was born in Hollywood, California. According to his manager, he was found dead in a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. | | |

I was so shocked when I read that. Wow. Kung Fu was my favorite. May he rest in peace. Tenaj - He was my all time favorite actor in that genre. I watched him everytime the show came on. Whatever movies he made, I would watch them. He will be sorely missed and yes, may he rest in peace. | | |

So Sad. I loved watching him act. His skills were extraordinary. He'll be deeply missed. If there were two movies I enjoyed the most besides the Kung Fu shows, it would have to be the Lone Wolf movie with Chuck Norris and the Bird on a Wire with Mel Gibson & Goldie Hawn. | | |

Sad indeed. If you get a chance to read his book Endless Highway it is a chronicle of his life journey through a troubled childhood, alcohol and drug addiction, and the ups and downs of his acting career.
He was a unique actor with a special style who will be missed.

Yes. Very Sad that he died. They said it was suicide then recently an accident(?). Hmmm... either way he will be missed...when you can snatch the pebble from my hand, then you will be ready, young grasshopper. | | |
