I think lottery post is a great website to talk about the lottery. However, I think it would be cool to talk about off-topic things, too. Why not add an "Off-topic" forum section? For example, I had no idea that Psykomo was in an excellent band. I know own his music CD. That'd be cool to learn or converse other things from people on these forum

That's a great idea, and I'm all for it. But I think I already know what Todd will say. "That's what the blogs are for"....lol

"That's what the blogs are for".... He has said it often enough, you would think people would stop suggesting it. * THat which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

Who really reads the blogs? Members who care about what other members have to say about things other than the lotteries read them. I look at them once in a while but frankly I come to this lottery forum to read about lotteries. * THat which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

I just think it's a hassle to look at an individual's blog. If the off-topic section were like a forum, it can be more direct and could get someone's attention immediately. There's so many members, so many blogs.

Well thats not exactly true .....you have a blog it's that you never wrote or posted anything in it. on the blue Menu bar at the top pf this page click members and then click My Blog or Post new blog entry you can store anything you want there be it a picture or tidbits of information you might like to review later. Big John says. You don't hit the number. The number hits you!!!!

By the way, I do want to mention that creating an off-topic (or any topic) forum is not out of the question. It has just not been the highest priority for me, and I am nervous about opening a can of worms. As much as I'd like to participate in such a forum myself, I don't want the site to become the democratunderground or dailykos. (i.e., ruined by politics.)
