hello again sirs/mams i have a new question again that i hope someone would be able to answer.

is it possible to count the skips of a certain number? like for example in column A from cell 1 to 1000 i have diffrent numbers rangin from 0 to 9 is it possible to count how many time the number 0 skipped 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.. times? tnx alot again also will would it be possible to count how many times it appeared consecutively like for example again in A1andA2 there is both the number 1 so it means that 1 has happened consecutively and on A3 1 apperead again so it has appered for 2 staight times. hope someone would be able to help tnx alot again. :)

    Look at this "Mathematics" post. I had the same question. My example sheets have been posted along with the formulas to get the skip/gap figures along with the specific lottery "Draw #".

    Help with Gap detection formula.

    See if this helps. If you need better explanations, ask.

     

    A quick note:

    I use Lotus123. If you're using Excel for example, the symbol "@" in the formulas needs to be changed to "=" symbol in front of all of the formulas.

              The only DUMB question is the one question you DID NOT ask...

          Here is a link to download a zip file that contains 2 Excel files. 

          The 1st excel file contains the past 1000+ draws for the Pennsylvania Pick 3 evening draws.  You can substitute your states past draws.

          The 2nd excel file calculates 1000 past draws and will calculate the 10 previous skips of each number by position.

          Let me know if you have any questions.

            I should have added that it would help to unzip these 2 Excel files into a new folder.  You can name this folder whatever you wish.
