ThanksCarBob.... I wanted to understand the different methods someone would use to create those numbers from those 10 pairs up there on those 2 groups Alpha 1 and 2 ...... using both singles, doubles ....and trips. That is ....after all a new 50/50 group and it should be another good tool in our Pick 3 tool belt. We have a very limited amount of 50/50 tools after all......at least the ones that are known .....and common to all of us here at LP. It occurred to me that the reason it didn't have a better user momentum was that a lot of people might not know how to even create it......much less use it. I also have a bad habit of over estimating the number of serious tracker players. If that was the case ..... perhaps finding alternative methods ....easy methods..... to create the group in other ways ........just might help new members that were struggling to use it. Heck..... how many common knowledge 50/50 groups do we have after several years on interaction? High/low Odd/even IN/Out ?? Not many ....and no where near enough. The more groups the better...... because most of the time .....most groups are acting within normal ranges. The groups are asleep most of the time and don't offer any help. .....so just like the dash board of our car..... I want to see it fast when ever that TEMPERATURE guage lights up ! In any group of five numbers there are 125 possible 3-number permutations ranging from triples through doubles to non-repeating combinations. For the groups you cite, they are: 14589 111 114 115 118 119 141 144 145 148 149 151 154 155 158 159 181 184 185 188 189 191 194 195 198 199 411 414 415 418 419 441 444 445 448 449 451 454 455 458 459 481 484 485 488 489 491 494 495 498 499 511 514 515 518 519 541 544 545 548 549 551 554 555 558 559 581 584 585 588 589 591 594 595 598 599 811 814 815 818 819 841 844 845 848 849 851 854 855 858 859 881 884 885 888 889 891 894 895 898 899 911 914 915 918 919 941 944 945 948 949 951 954 955 958 959 981 984 985 988 989 991 994 995 998 999 02367 000 002 003 006 007 020 022 023 026 027 030 032 033 036 037 060 062 063 066 067 070 072 073 076 077 200 202 203 206 207 220 222 223 226 227 230 232 233 236 237 260 262 263 266 267 270 272 273 276 277 300 302 303 306 307 320 322 323 326 327 330 332 333 336 337 360 362 363 366 367 370 372 373 376 377 600 602 603 606 607 620 622 623 626 627 630 632 633 636 637 660 662 663 666 667 670 672 673 676 677 700 702 703 706 707 720 722 723 726 727 730 732 733 736 737 760 762 763 766 767 770 772 773 776 777 These combinations cover 250 out of the 1,000 possibilities in the Pick 3 matrix. The same would be true if the five-number combinations were odd vs. even or high vs. low. Sorry Johnph77 .......... your numbers don't add up correctly to make a balanced 50/50 group totaling 1000 numbers. Each of your groups totals 545 numbers ....each. ?? Totals of 545 x 2 = 1090 . Several years ago I set out to make a new 50/50 numbers group for Pick 3 game as I indicated above. The numbers I listed up there were the result of that goal. I finally succeeded ......and came up with a perfectly balanced 50/50 group. I have attempted over the years to have this group used by the general LP population without much success........and I now believe it's because most people can't actually create the 2 groups. I believe most people approach this the same way and end up with the same unbalanced result. The whole point was to create a balanced group to use in the Pick 3 game where both sides being equal strength could be tracked on a equal basis....... not just a 5 digit wheel . It is incorrect to assume that this will achieve anything like a balanced 50/50 group. Please note that the numbers in your 2 groups .......and mine do not match. Each of your groups up there contain ...... 60 single no match numbers ......and 60 doubles ......as well as 5 trips each. As you will quickly see ..... your two groups totals contain 120 single no match numbers which extrapolate out to 720 straights in the 1000 chart ...... and 120 Doubles .....plus 10 trips. The 120 doubles your groups contain figure to be 120 doubles x 3 = 360 straight doubles of the 1000 ?? So ..... in short .... each of those groups contain .....60 singles ...and 60 doubles too.....plus 5 trips. Unfortunately ...this totals up to ....... 545 numbers per group as you can see. 545 x 2 = 1,090 total. I think now I see the problem with this 50/50 group getting any momentum over the years. I believe most folks attempts .....to recreate a perfectly balanced group using 5 digits ....probably follow the same path and fall down on the implementation. Most gravitate to a wheel ....which will always end up with 1,090 numbers instead of the correctly balanced 1000. Please note ..... that each of the 2 groups I created each contain 60 single no match .....45 doubles ...and 5 trips. 60 x 6 = 360 45 doubles x 3 = 135 plus 5 trips ...... x 2 groups = gives us....1000 straight numbers in the pick 3 matrix. ( A Balanced 50/50) Thanks very much johnph77 for attempting this 50/50 group recreation ! This explains several things as to the reasons behind its slow acceptance. It's just hard to recreate ...even with a template ! LOL "It's just as important to show how you missed the number ......as how you hit it."

Chaz, I'm not sure I completely understand, but this is my take. If you use a wheel program and insert Group 1 digits in Pos 1, You end up with 500 combos. This is Group 1. Am I anywhere close to what you are trying to do? 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 120, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 132, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 142, 143, 145, 146, 147, WinD - <quote>Sorry Johnph77 .......... your numbers don't add up correctly to make a balanced 50/50 group totaling 1000 numbers. Each of your groups totals 545 numbers ....each. ?? Totals of 545 x 2 = 1090</quote> They're not supposed to. Each set of 125 3-digit combinations I listed utilize only the numbers available from that 5-digit group. The 60 no-match numbers list all six of the permutations possible in the ten no-match possibilities available from each 5-digit group. The 60 doubles list all three of the permutations possible in the 20 doubles possibilities available from each 5-digit group. No further extrapolation is necessary or possible. The five triples from each 5-digit group are as usual. Given this, though, there are 750 possibilities left that utilize numbers from both five-digit groups, and none of those would be triples. Do you think you could recreate these 2 groups in a fast easy way ? How would you do it ? Sorry johnph77 .... I naturally thought you were attempting to answer the question in my post up there dealing with this specific 50/50 group first demonstrated and ....... already broken down into parts. Maybe we can discuss the break down on your sort of group and how to recreate it .....later on down the road. For right now however .... perhaps we should keep our focus on this particular 50/50 group and how to recreate it.... to avoid confusing the orginal point of the question. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "It's just as important to show how you missed the number ......as how you hit it."

Then obviously I've failed to see the significance of the two alpha groups when forming three-digit combinations. But There are 125 different three-digit combinations possible using only numbers contained in alpha group 1. This includes doubles and triples. There are 375 different three-digit combinations possible using any two numbers from alpha group 1 and one number from alpha group 2. The two numbers from alpha group 1 can be a double. There are 375 different three-digit combinations possible using one number from alpha group 1 and any two numbers from alpha group 2. The two numbers from alpha group 2 can be a double. There are 125 different three-digit combinations possible using only numbers contained in alpha group 2. This includes doubles and triples. 1,000 different three-digit combinations in all. Thank you johnph77. The significance was intended to be on the question itself .....and ..... if one could recreate the 2 groups already there. They were already broken down into their only possible groups..... i.e. doubles, trips, and singles. It also ask the reader how they would approach recreating those 2 specific groups in the question. Perhaps.... I should have left out the 5 digits all together ......and just started with the 10 pairs only. This way ....it would have forced the reader to stay on point ......and deal with the pairs in attempting to recreate the groups that were already there ....and already dissected . Because the recreation can't be done using just the 5 digits alone...... they must be used to form the 10 pairs first ......and only then is it possible to recreate those 2 groups shown. .....the 5 digits were just there to show how the 10 pairs were formed. The focus had to be on the 10 pairs rather than the 5 digits .....otherwise the groups couldn't have been recreated. At least those 2 groups shown anyway. johnph77 .....allow me to say ..... I always enjoy seeing your post and the visualizations you've presented over the years.....and I always appreciate your input... even though I'm pretty sure P-3 isn't your favorite game. So...thanks again. "It's just as important to show how you missed the number ......as how you hit it."

Another method is for a programmer to program a tracking system in excell or a lottery program. The programmer would need to do a conversion formula for each group number. Otherwise it would take forever to do the conversion manualy. Something along the line of your lottery program that separates other data that we all know about. Would just be an added filter to your current program. Stats hunting:

rindo..... thanks for the info on the free Wheel Engine info from Lotteryusa.... but I am pretty sure that wheel runs into the same problem in recreating the Alpha groups ...... it simply spits out an uneven wheel result using 5 digits ......the results end up being 60 singles ...60 doubles and 5 trips for each ... which are not the right totals. I could be wrong and you could be doing something with it I don't know about .....but from what I see it is limited as well. Although .....it is one of the best wheeling systems going......and free as well. If you would .....please paste the results you achieved using the wheel ......and the way you got it to work so we might compare it to the Alpha groups numbers. Thanks "It's just as important to show how you missed the number ......as how you hit it."

The 10 Pure All Alpha Group 2 037, 236, 237, 067, 023, 267, 367, 026, 027, 036 Let me try it again with two more ideas but it takes an advanced membership to do it. Now if I can remember correctly on their use. The deflate 3 option has pair filters I remember. Just click your ten pairs desired will pull the numbers in the group. You can deflate past history of the ten pairs. You can copy and paste the 220 combos in the deflate 3 and use the ten pair filter. Search past results I think you can enter up to ten pairs [any order I think]. That will pull the number history of the ten pairs. Will take about 42 seconds using those tools. Stats hunting:
