The current "Lottery Post" online record is at 9,123 viewers from March 6, 2007 at 11:28 p.m. With the current Mega Millions drawing at $333 Million tonight, will this record be broken tonight? I voted "Tonight"!

I think so. I think Todd was testing shutdown on non critical parts of lottery post already .Probably to cut overload or something. I just went to post a prediction a few minutes ago and service was unavailable and then it was back up after a couple minutes. HMMMMMMMMM Stats hunting:

JAP69: Yeah, when I posted the poll there were about 800 people on board. Now there are close to 3,000. Hope they vote! Let's break that record before midnight!

The night that record was set the jackpot was $390M, it may have to roll one more time to attract that many or more viewers . * THat which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

I went to check how many people were online at the moment, but I am only seeing the message below. Maybe, Todd is preparing for all the people that will be coming to the site. Lottery Post Statistics Statistics are not available at this time "No one remembers the person who almost climbed the mountain, only the person who eventually gets to the top." ThatScaryChick

At this moment it says: 11182, so the record was definitely broken. "No one remembers the person who almost climbed the mountain, only the person who eventually gets to the top." ThatScaryChick

OOpps! my bad.......(Looks like that TV Exposure paid off!).....WHO KNEW!!!!!!!! CONGRATS TODD!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's very simple: Lottery Post grows in audience size every week. It is now the largest non-government lottery web site on the planet. As a result, we get situations where 11,000 people are simultaneously viewing the site at any one second. Did you also notice that the site remained operational the whole evening? Did you try going to any of the state lottery web sites and see that they were frozen? Lottery Post benefits from my IT background, and is able to handle big traffic spikes much better than most sites. I normally don't pat myself on the back, but sometimes it is nice to take stock in things.
