Never mind Todd, I just went to the OLC website and it clearly states (in a neatly tucked away section of their FAQ in small print) that the drawings are no longer televised and that the Cash-5 and Pick-3 are drawn by computer now. I am on the OLC's mailing list and was never advised of this. Not only that, but I work in a business that sells tickets and I see a rep at least 3 times a month and we were never advised that this change took place. This all seems very underhanded. I agree completely with downgrading us on the report card. Yeah, I saw it on the Pick 3 and Pick 5 results pages. There is a small section about the drawings. Not good.

Internet Search:+Oklahoma+Lottery+computerized
Revealed a News Item on the OK Website:
Thursday, 17 September 2009 OKLAHOMA CITY The Oklahoma Lottery announces its decision to move to computerized drawings for its Oklahoma Cash 5 and Pick 3 games effective Sept. 20, 2009
http://www.oklahomalottery.com/content/view/30177/379/
Which leads you to a Newspaper News item:
http://www.adaeveningnews.com/statenews/local_story_260090009.html
The article claimed that 50% of all the US Lotteries are Computerized.
In addition many of the Oklahoma Newspapers seem to have the Story about the Oklahoma Lottery going to Computerized Drawings. A mind once stretched by a new idea never returns to its original dimensions!

Not only are they computerized, I think there might be a little cheating going on, because the odds are out of wack...when a number comes up in doubles several times in a row....come on, I would be more likely to be hit by a falling star... I also beleave monies that are spent on education should be better spent....more money should go to grades pre-k through 12, they need to bring back more sports, gymnastics, swimming....How about good ole field trips, where children can experience their world...NOTE some children will never see much because of poverty. Colleges get lots of donations...and theres always loans and scolarships....We need to excite the young about learning.... The lottery has made enough money the could give children an allowence for good attendance and grades,,,pay for excellent tutors,,,and after school programs Even give a little to YWCA or YMCA... Summer camps and more!!!! Neighborhood recreational centers that keep kids off the street..... Oh! better pay for bus drivers and proper training for them to....stop hiring anyone! whats wrong with a good ole MMPI...we might stop some things from happening....

Yes, I win occasionally, but I used to win a lot more often. This news explains a lot of that to me. Apparently, I'm going to have to adjust my strategies a bit. Back to the drawing board...... Shawn

I'll be sticking with the Pyramid system for a while now. I see a lot of promise in the system, but there's just something missing. I intend to figure out what it is and correct it if possible. I would also be interested to hear from anyone else who has ever used Steve Player's Pyramid. For example, how does one effectively use this system to predict doubles, and which pyramid do you use after doubles hit. I realize not many people read this thread, but anyone that can shed some light, please do so. Thanks for any input. Shawn
