Scanning a scratcher will tell if its a winner correct?
What is there to stop a retailer from scanning the barcode on a roll of scratchers and buying the winners and returning the losers to be sold?
I ask this because I once saw a show about a lady who worked in a store that sold scratchers. She claimed she always played them, sometimes spending her entire paycheck on them while at work, buying and scratching. She said she often won and even hit a scratcher for 500K.
A lady at a local gas station here in town hit a $75,000 scratcher about a year ago.
Whats to stop a lone worker from scanner the tickets until they find a big winner?
