Dateline's Chris Hansen did a story about possible lottery fraud in several states. Apparently, a number of retailers around the country are cashing dozens of winning 4/5 game tickets one after another. Either they're impossibly lucky or something more sinister is happening. I smell a rat!! You can see the story on Dateline's homepage. I'd post the link, but apparently it's against the rules. "...a chance to push everything aside, the circumstances that've controlled our lives, and do it our way now. Good, bad or otherwise. You'll maybe get lost in it, tied up in it a little bit, but if you work your way through that the real you shows up, I think. Maybe what's at your core deep down, maybe that comes out. Maybe that's what it's about." Mike Pace

Thank's for the info, theres also another 5 part video on there about retailer telling winners they haven't won then claim the prize for them felf or a family member. People should spend the time to read the games rules on the back of the ticket it only takes 60 seconds, and not trust the clerk tell them if they'r a winner or not.

Sounds like the story they did several months ago, I think we had a fairly long topic about it but I'm feeling too lazy to look for it.
EDIT: Okay, it wasn't the same one, I found the topic..

Oh and the reason you probably can't post links is because your user level isn't high enough yet.
Here's the link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24159621/ns/dateline_nbc-the_hansen_files_with_chris_hansen/ You can't predict random.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check it out. Oops. I guess Todd already posted this. I don't how I missed it. "No one remembers the person who almost climbed the mountain, only the person who eventually gets to the top." ThatScaryChick

The odds of winning are bad enough, we don't need some retailer with their "thumb on the scale"
