Let's make a list of Lotto Maxims, witticisms, philosophy, general rules of thumb.

I think it was Henry David Thorreau that said something ike most men go to their graves with their song still in their hearts, or unsung.

So how about a Lotto Maxim that says,

Most lotto players go to their graves with their jackpot not won.

It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery!
Close doesn't count!

I sell everything at a loss but make up for it in volume

There are two kinds of jackpot winners...the ones who remained anonymous and the ones that wish they had.

    Great idea Coin Toss.

Thoreau said: "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation."

That could be very apropos for the mass of lottery players today. LOL

If you quit, playing your number, it will fall, before you slumber.

People who are vehemently opposed to playing a $1 quick pick will gladly fork over $10, $20, or $50 to play a raffle ticket.

           What?             Scared

Although there is no such thing as "your numbers", most players talk about "my numbers."

The more jackpots that go to quick picks, the more players deny that quick picks win most of the jackpots.

Most lower tier prizes go right back to the lottery.

When the Mega number on MM or the Powerball number on PB matches one of the upper matrix numbers, someone who hit 5 + 0 and not 5 + 1 will have missed the jackpot because they "already played that number."

No matter hoe much a matrix expands there are going to be people who will still play the game. The lotteries know this, boy do they know this.

Pure unadulterated hype about "How to Win", no matter how erronerous, will attract more attention than things that are factual.

It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery!
