Crow, I'll tell you why. I have been playing the lottery for a long time, NY,Pa, Sc, right here in Charlotte, made a lot of money l mean real money. They didn't wont the lottery here at all, just pass the bill to have it, and as you can see it is the worse lottery in the country. l don't post alot because NC lottery is full of it, and to you NCEL l know your reading this as well. So let me help you out, In the beginning their was and still is today the first lottery, call the numbers houses racket "Still Flourishing You would think the popularity of today's legal pick 3 game would have spelled the end for the illegal numbers game. But it hasn't .In fact, the numbers game still flourishes. The pick 3 game originated in the 1870s it grew and grew, in the 1950s crime bosses were raking in $ 1 million a day in Boston alone. When the NCEL came here, l said that will be the end of all numbers house, these houses are still as full with lottery player all day long. Now l know why, they still play there.

NY,Pa,Sc,and few more, and yes the pay out is 6-1 NC is 5-1. So why all the pick 3 come out about at 7 or 8 and NC is 11.22 what the hex 11.22 why. And all lottery games are cut off 15 min be for it comes out why,why you know why, it's gives them time to see what numbers has the most money on it, there here to make money, not to lose, and why is it that some numbers never come out why.

The daily numbers game remains without doubt the biggest and most profitable racket of all, reaps in more than a quarter billion dollar a year PROFIT on the numbers games in New York.

Why?

I think that I might be able to explain a little further here goes:

Lets say you want a 100% "DEGREE OF CERTAINTY" for a number like 741.."IF" you want a 100%  DC then is it takes "6904" draws to do this given there is 1000 combinations in the pick 3....plus the "PAYOUT" flat out sucks as a means of re-couping your losses ...here again "IF" NCEL were being fair they'd payout over 700 for a win instead of 500...you could call this the "HOUSE EDGE" in "THIER FAVOR"...these odds are "WAY WORSE" than roulette at Vegas...

Here again NCEL can get away with fixing the payout in thier favor because after all they are the GOVT  and the GOVT has always decided what is moral and what is not and when it involves $$$$$ you know where they are learning towards..!

i agree with you crow it is a rip off and nc is the biggest crooks all other states does splits and boxes everything i prediceted comes out but not in nc look at 570 ran a whole week but not in nc they make everything else available online poker horse betting bingo but not the lottery to us citizens they allow foreigners to pick us states but you can't if you live in the bad usa..... i notice that gambling is gambling no matter what your doing but they are so scared that someone else is getting ahead of nc the answer is yes because you can't stay ahead in one state
