We have a name for 2 numbers in Pick 3--pairs.

My question to my fellow Pick 4 players is----what do we call pairs for Pick 4? (3 numbers)

Would you call them triples? Pairs Plus One?

Thanks for your help! Thumbs Up

I think I would call it:

    Pick 4 (10 numbers)

Quite often, I have seen them refered to as triples or triplets.

They are very good indicators for hitting the pick 4. IMO

Hi kif, thanks for responding. Big Grin

Maybe I didn't ask the question correctly. I'd like to know what we call it when you get 3 out of 4 of the numbers? Is that what you would call a triple in Pick 4?

Since we can relate a lot of events to sports, I call it a 'THREE BAGGER' . i.e. a triple base hit in baseball.

I make notes on my P4 slips, and sometimes I write either 'CLOSE' or '3 OUT OF 4'.
