My conscience has been bothering me about that chair throwing incident. I just can't hide things like that for long. I'm tired of walking around under a shroud of secrecy Honesty is always the best policy and it's better to just tell the truth and live with the consequences, I guess. The truth would come out eventually anyway. Tiggs did it. It wouldn't have been so bad if grandma wasn't still sitting in it. Silly old woman said that chair was lucky.

After everyone tears up their futures bets on the Twinkies we're going to have a discussion on the fastest route into the Institut, for a long stay. So far it's first time lotto players wanting to know how come they didn't win anything. It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery! Close doesn't count! I sell everything at a loss but make up for it in volume - Milo Minderbinder, Catch-22 There are two kinds of jackpot winners...the ones who remained anonymous and the ones that wish they had.

We're always glad to hear from one of our long term residents. After Lottery Changed My Life aired Thursday night there was a bog fervor over the book by the seven time lottery winner. Therr was another chair throwing incident as not being able to play like he does if you don't have his bankroll was being discussed. Several people decided that despite never having won seven jackpots, or any for that matter, they still planned on writing a book about How to Beat the Lotto. It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery! Close doesn't count! Maybe a game with lower odds would suit you, you need a win bad like a trip to a ranch in Reno. DD

Opti-Mystic, Most of the "UFOs" that have been sighted near Earth are from the Zeta-Reticuli Star system. _______________________________ We had a rosuing discussion the other day at the Institute about whether or not luck exists. Anyone who wanted to took a turn speaking from a podium in front of the room. Several residents stated why they believed in luck and then one got up to state why he didn't believe in luck and said infact, there was no such thing. Ironically, as he approached the podium, someone stopped him to ask him for a pen. A few feet ahead of huim, just at that moment, one of the opverhead lights shattered and would have hit him on the head had he not stopped. Maintaineence came in to clean up the debris from the shattered light, and just as he was about to test the microphone on the podium the power went out. It turned out the microphone had a short and would have given him a very strong shock. When the power came back on again and a new microphone was found he told eveeyone how he doesn't believe in luck and it doesn't exist. It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery! Close doesn't count! The discussion about luck is still going on and we have a special guest this weekend coming in to explain how it is easier to hit a Pick 4 than a Pick 3. There is also a pool going on about whether that guest will become a permanent resident here at the Institute or not.
One of our residents is telling stories about a bird that comes by his window every morning and chirps out the upcoming Mid Day Pick 3.

As the discussion about luck still rages on the there's no such thing as luck crowd was going to have one of theirs do a demonstration. He went out to get some props and was coming back with a black cat, wearing a jersey with the number 13 on the back, stepping on cracks on the sidewalk, all the way back to the meeting, and stepped on a cricket. As he was coming up the stairs he slipped and fell down a flight and will be laid up for a few days.
