What little 'lucky' thing do you do in regard to playing the lottery?

Do you have a lucky charm? A 'medicine bag' full of them? Rabbit's foot?

Do you wear a certain article of clothing when buying? Turn your hat backwards?

Do you only buy from certain retailers or a certain clerk or only on certain days or a certain time?

Do you say a prayer, recite a mantra or affirmation? Keep your tickets in a 'lucky' spot?

What little thing do you always do for luck?

I have a hockey puck with Steve Yzermans picture on it , I put the tickets under that. or sometimes i put them under my Magglio Ordonez bobblehead.

I  wear my lucky color purple, on thursday my lucky day wearing a bracelet with the lucky gemstone for my sign I keep 8 of my lucky gemstone s and amulets in my left pocket and as often as I can, try to purchase my lottery tickets on the days of the week that equal to my life path number of 8.  I feel especially lucky when that day falls on a thursday.  I also try to purchase my tickets during the time when the numbers equals 8.

Been lucky a few times with that.   But the jackpot is only a matter of time --just waiting for everything to hit just right.

I dont pray for lottery winnings.   But i say a winning poem  that i wrote and focus on repeating it along with a quick manifestation.

I read this somewhere and say it to myself when I play the tickets;

"Money, money come to me

for I deserve prosperity"

Every once in a while one of the tabloids, usually The Sun, has a lottery article or a "Lucky Pyramid" to cut out and place over your tickets.

I do that or put a leprechuan charm over them.

I also draw the number 8 and keep it in the playslip wallet.

On the way out, if there's a stuffed animal in the store, especially a unicorn or elephant, I'll rub the tickets on it.

I was told to alway ask for noone's harm because you  want to make sure you do not benefit from someone elses hurt - its like you win the lottery but end up in a car accident  where someone you love gets hurt.

I have a tiny buddah statue I always put on top of my scratch offs for good luck.  I also never scratch at the store, i do it at home at my desk while working

I have to use a penny dated 1971 to rub my scratchoffs. I dont know why that year...But everytime I get one in change  I always keep it.

I used the pyramid too. And the number 8 on a green slip of paper.

If you find a penny face up tape it over your front door,supposed to bring wealth and prosperity. if you find one face down turn it over and leave it for the next person.

Wow rdgrnr, I jus Pray to the HEAVENLY FATHER ABOVE, after I  work out my numbers.  and go play them! Oh yes and I keep A positive Attitude after Prayer; Withouth HIM I can do Nothing!!

I have a clump of elephant eyebrows that I pet just before going to the store.

I do zip nada zero nothing..It's after I hit is when I start to pray and SHOWOFF!!!!...

Sully16 I like your choices..I was born in Detroit about a hundred years ago and love all the names you chose..I go back to Virgel Trucks and Gordie Howe days..Maybe I should use your methods?...When I wn I will flaunt it big time then hide for the rest of my life...

My grandpa was born in Detroit 1909, he got you beat by a year.sometimes i play all my favorite players numbers.  i never win,but what the hey.

1909 is a bit older then me..I played numbers like that once Al Kaline and other Detroit numbers..Like you zero..I lived in Wayne in the 40's and Ypsilanti in the 50's and 60's..I miss Ypsi but won't move back after going back and seeing friends..Looks like a ghost town..Good luck and hope you as a Michigander will win big..
