I think it is a good idea to be more transparent as in posting a thread about recent and/or upcoming update(s) on LOTTERY POST.  In addition,it would be nice if Todd put up a poll for people like us to vote for a new update for this website.

Lottery Post already has a change log.  It has been there for years, and includes all the updates.  It even has an RSS feed.

I apologize for not looking around first.  When are you ever going to give us an option where we can change the eastern time zone according to our own?  I am thankful that you do make updates to the website, but the time zone option seem to be a standard on all other forums that I have been to.

I understand and agree that time zone is a missing feature.

The Lottery Post forums are 100% constructed by me, so it's a matter of being able to prioritize the most important new features, and unfortunately that one has been kicked down the road a few times due to more pressing issues (or features that were quicker to create).

Most forums use software packages that get installed, so a team of people are working on the software.  Although that approach does provide a lot of functionality, I never wanted to live with the limitations that also come along with it.

For one thing, you can see that Lottery Post has nearly 1.5 million forum posts, and every single one of them is available for viewing and searching.  Off-the-shelf software just can't handle that kind of thing.  The forums are also tightly integrated into the rest of the site, which is very difficult to do with off-the-shelf software.  Lots of other things too.
