I'm playing both games evenly. I spend the same amount on each game. But overall, I will be spending more money since I add Mega Millions to the games I am playing. "No one remembers the person who almost climbed the mountain, only the person who eventually gets to the top." ThatScaryChick

Living near the TN/VA state line, I've been playing both games for some time now. I play the same numbers on both games on month-long multi-draws. I also occasionally buy a QP the day of the draw. The only difference now is adding the cost of the Megaplier on Mega Millions. I play both games every draw regardless of either's jackpot amount. I'd be just as happy winning 12 million as 200 million. . The water ain't never gonna run clear til you get the pigs out of the creek.

Probably won't affect my usual wager that much..I would probably spend more money though when both jackpots are high or one is high than the other. Just fair warning LP people ......PLEASE DON'T GET ANGRY WHEN I WIN POWERBALL AND MEGAMILLIONS BACK TO BACK!! LOL

I'm gonna play them both, but I'll put more on the one that's higher. If Powerball is higher, I'll play $3 on Powerball and $2 on Mega Millions. If Mega Millions is higher, I'll play $3 on Mega Millions and $2 on Powerball. Gonna win.

I no longer play the N.Y. State lottery game, which stinks and play Powerball instead. So I play Mega and Powerball twice a week. I used to go to Connecticut when Powerball got fairly big, now I don't have to. Megamillionaire Time is a wonderful teacher, but it kills all its students. Since we have Mega Millions in New Mexico, I am playing Powerball, too. I think I will purchase one or two tickets for Mega Millions with the Megaplier, and one or two tickets with Powerball with the Power Play. I probably will not play Hot Lotto as much -- unless it is a large jackpot. -- Bye, bye! When you win, may you glow as brightly as the

Illinois has had Mega Millions and added Powerball. We haven't heard a thing yet about the Megaplier but I'm thinking it might have to happen just to compete. Right now the MM jackpoot is $15,000,000 and the PB is $115,000,000. The buck that would have went to MM will become the Powerplay on the PB. Let's see, oh my head the pain.....$15 vs $115 million, and $250,000 for 5 + 0 vs $1,000,000. Kind of a no brainer. I realize there is that element that can't pass up a drawing and has to be "in action" regarldess of the jackpots, and either way the odds are astronomical, but right now PB is a lot more "bang for the buck". It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery! Close doesn't count! Am still waiting for Florida to get the Mega but its no problem for me the more the better!!!! I remember when we got the powerball and the news people were like isn't it going to hurt the Florida lotto, the problem with the lottery system here is that it doesn't get big as it use to be. It have been over 100 million in a long time. They are keeping it small and no one is hardly playing it that I know of!!!! Once and a blue moon I will play when its over 5 million but gees I don't think it will hit 100 anytime soon:( So thank god for the powerball and MegaMillions:) Laundry is the only thing that should be seperated by color
