There were some members asking about when the they'd be able to get a peek inside the Lottery Results Almanac books. Well, the "Look Inside" feature at Amazon.com is now available for both the United States and Canada editions of the book. Also, Amazon offers free shipping (and no tax) on both!

That pic was taken in January.

When I glanced back at the "Look Inside" pages, I just noticed that they are not perfectly accurate. All the shading that appears on each page is missing -- probably because of the way the image translation was done by Amazon. In the actual books, all of the results tables have "zebra stripes" -- every other row has a light shading so it is easy to follow the information across the page. If you've looked at any of the Lottery Post results pages you have seen zebra stripes, as all the rows have an alternating color. Aside from the shading not displaying in the Look Inside preview at Amazon, it at least gives a good idea as to the content and layout. I tested the book layout by using it myself for a while, and I find it very useful and easy to use.

I don't know if I will purchase it or not being I only follow a couple states. However your picture did look good. HAWK *We may see something that isn’t there because of what we expect to see Or conversely, we may not see something because we don’t expect to see it.*

Nice. I was wondering if that feature would be available. As a rule I do not purchase an unknown book without a look inside and I do judge a book by it's cover on Amazone if that's all that is presented.

Outstanding work on your Almanac. Do you have plans to compile and sell this same data via e-book? Steve

Todd, As one who thrives on daily lottery stats, and sells rare Books on Abe, love your work; notice the price is increasing in several countries.

Outstanding work on your Almanac. Do you have plans to compile and sell this same data via e-book? Quite possibly! Do you have a particular type of e-reader that you use? I was considering publishing for both the Amazon Kindle as well as Apple iPad (the format is called ePub).

Todd, As one who thrives on daily lottery stats, and sells rare Books on Abe, love your work; notice the price is increasing in several countries. Thanks! Yes, I noticed the higher price, especially in other countries. Amazon has a nice discount right now, however, and offers free shipping (and no tax in most states). Low prices don't last forever, so people who are looking to pick up a copy shouldn't wait -- I can't see it getting any lower, but I do see it getting higher, especially over time. The Almanac series will continue to be published year-after-year, so if you are looking to maintain a complete set of historical lottery results for all games, waiting is a bad idea. (You don't want "2009" missing from your set, and don't forget the Canada Edition too.) I recently obtained my ISSN number for the Almanac series, so it's officially an on-going series!
