One quick question for active lottery members. I am doing some market researchers, would you ever consider buying lotto tickets online if it could all be verified?

No. I believe most syndicates/services/brokers/agents etc actually buy the tickets. I just would not trust them when/if a $200 million jackpot were to happen... I want the ticket in my hot little hands when the drawing occurs.

I once did two waitresses, but I don't think it had any more to do with the lottery than market researchers.

One quick question for active lottery members. I am doing some market researchers, would you ever consider buying lotto tickets online if it could all be verified? If I could get verification of my Purchase, get a printout through my Printer. but not before I did a background check on the company with the BBB, If all that turned out okay; Yes I would buy pick3 online. I would be cautiously optimistic with the pick 4 until I had a couple of paid wins with the pick 3! I have taken many chances in this life. After all it's a gamble. And I am a gambler. I call myself "An Investor in Digits" But gamblers who win want their money!!!! I don't buy Mega, PB, or any of the of the win Millions, lottery games very often. When I do, it's maybe twice a year. I would buy those online only after others won and got their winnings! It's not "them", It's you. Everywhere you go there you are! *Jr$ina

One quick question for active lottery members. I am doing some market researchers, would you ever consider buying lotto tickets online if it could all be verified? Now that MegaMillions and PowerBall will be sold in most states which also have a pick6, a pick5, a pick4 and a pick3 games locally, I would think there would be less demands for an online lottery ticket service. Why would anyone pay the 100% markup to buy lottery tickets online when they can buy them locally at regular prices? * that which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *

The Australian lottery games including their PowerBall are online through a state licenced vendor. Before our congress critters changed the law I bought tickets online through them because the odds were better and the tickets two for an Au Dollar for one of the games. I never felt a moment of concern.

BobP I really don't like to purchase anything online. As BobP mentions if it was a state licensed vendor then there would be no worries but some Joe Smoe xyz corp. no way.

What about scratch offs? I know it may seem crazy, but many people buy items online instead of going down the street to a store.

I used to think no chance in hell. But the sellers do send photo copies of tickets to players. If there was a jackpot winning ticket, I imagine he law would protect your rights to that ticket.

What about scratch offs? I know it may seem crazy, but many people buy items online instead of going down the street to a store. Scratch offs are interactive games for instant gratification. What is the advantage of having someone else buy and scratch them for a fee and send you an e-mail telling you "you lose, try again"? Since scratch-off aren't unique, the same tickets could be used over and over as long as a different sucker was on the line. Players that lazy and dumb shouldn't play lotteries. * that which happens most * * is most likely to happen again *
