Got this sucker on the way home from work today. Right when I was a bout to give up on this scratcher for a while, I get this whopper.....$500 smackers
When you win $500 how do you receive the money? Do you fill out claim forms?

No forms under $600. Go to a local retailer and collect the cash. Jackpots...Just Average Citizens Keeping Possibilities Open Towards Security

They send you a check for the higher prizes? Yes, they take all applicable taxes out. As for sending you a check, I don't know for sure, yet. But depending on the amount, you go to the regional office and get a check directly when you validate the ticket. Life's Too Short To Be Unhappy

Nice hits NightStalker, next time Megaplier? I have never played the Megaplier or Powerplay. My wife tells me I should (mostly because she does), but I always think that extra dollar is better spent getting another chance on the JP (even though I know it doesn't increase my odds). I may try it in the future. You never know. Life's Too Short To Be Unhappy

When you win $500 how do you receive the money? Do you fill out claim forms? Hi Nikki Here is the way it works: Any prize up to $599 can be cashed at any retailer (providing they have that amount of cash). Usually I'll go to a grocery store Any district Lottery office can cut you a check right there for any amount up to $250,000 * For prizes above $5,000, the District office will withhold 25% for taxes and cut you a check for the difference. Any amount over $250,000 you have to go to the FL Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Good luck! Hopefully all of us will get a chance to go to Tallahassee =)

I just took a look at my state lotto site and our district will cash up to $500,000. Hopefully for the big win I'll get a chance to go to Madison, Wisconsin.
