Leave it up to good ol' PA Lottery...

Bought a $5 harley davidson ticket...had 5 cash symbols..so figured I won at least $25...with $5 under each...NOPE...waited to scratch the amount...and good ol' PA  had a $1 under each...I could not believe that on a $5 ticket they now are pulling the $1 amount....needless to say I was very disappointed but not surprised...I play $5 tickets all the time and have never seen a $1 under the amount...

SO I won my  $5 back...but was disappointed that they are going to put $1 amounts on $5 tickets..now...on the $1 tickets are they  going to put a 25 cent symbol with 4 wins to equal a $1....

They are really sucking the fun out of the tickets...as usual..instead of the newer ones getting better they are getting worse..

you used to get excited getting the symbols or seeing your numbers...

don't mean to complain, but I haven't bought tickets in awhile...and I can see why....

anyone else think this is stupid to have 5 wins with $1 under each win.....to equal the ticket amount...???

Unreal. i was just thinking the other day that at least on $5 tickets, multiple matches actually mean at least $5 under each. Guess Pa is going the route of some other states now and getting cheap. I have to convince myself not to give in and play like I use to, but I am def seeing the signs of them becoming crap. Even the guy who won the WIN ALL on the new $20 ticket was only $500. I saw you can actually get the Win ALL and still only net $250.. Pitiful.  I mentioned before that the new $20 tickets have the $5 matches. All time low PA. Looks like when I play I will try to hoard up on the older tickets

Was out and about again and got 2 more Black ties(005-006) and they both lost. I only go back to it cause I am 0-13+ right now. I am half tempted to get a roll just to actually say I won on one of them.lol  I can't ever recall a ticket where I would pick and choose and go this long without a winner.

Haven't tried any of the black ties..but in the stores I hear that they stink..one lady did win $400 I think..but other people are saying "NO wins""

You might have to get the whole roll to finally win something on those tickets...Good luck if you do...

wish the PA lottery would read these forums and see what people are complaining about...because they wouldn't be making the tickets worse if they did....they will only hurt themselves in the end..because they aren't getting too much of my money anymore...in fact they are getting about as much of my money as they are giving out...$5 here and there anymore...LOL>.

There's a $10 Florida scratch called $200 Million Spectacular. I think it's the oldest scratch left. It seems all the shops have them now that never carried them before and I think the Fl Lot is getting rid of them soon..... but still has 6 top $1M prizes left.

In the past I did real good with $200MS - best was $5K - a few $1k's and dozens of $500's.

Today I decided to buy a roll ($600 for 000-059) I scratched and scratched - got a total BACK of $120 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had 34 (THIRTY FOUR) duds in a ROW and got 12 $10 wins. WIth duds in between. WHAT GIVES ????

Since Florida is a state that ONLY SHOWS TOP PRIZES left on the scratchers you have no idea what lower tier prizes are left.

Cost me $480 bucks ! Anyone here have 34 duds in a row ??

<snip>. I do hear the $10 tickets in general are bad(at least PA). I wish PA would show all prizes also. They show top3 for each game, so there might be alot of big prizes left(in regards to how many there were to start), but all the $500/$1k prizes could be wiped up. To me I woudl rather know about those middle tier prizes vs the big prizes since they are far and few between

That is extremely low of the FL lottery. I bet you couldn't believe it. Most losers I have had in a row is 13, on the $1 Candy Cane Cash. I had won $20 on it and got impulsive. I think PA goes beyond that 2.5x the odds rule now, but I have never seen anything like 34.

Don't worry, omiller - I have gotten in long winless stretches on quite a few games.

Finally won on the new tickets, but not a profit. At least I won before my break.  From the beer store:

Big Money #056 loser (that must be about 7 straight losses, and have never won in the 50s on Big Money.)

Brought #002-#012 spent $110 ($10 game of 3,000,000 bonanza)  and only #005 was a winner for $20 sigh. Done for today.

Ran to the redbox and got another Black Tie(007). Another loser.lol I am just glutton for punishment with these. Still baffled by the 34 losers in Florida in a row.

The same exact thing happened to me. I got excited that I got all these symbols. I'm thinking "Great, I'm at least up $20!", only to be very surprised that I just get my money back. PA has reached an all time low.

34 losses is outrageous for the amount of money you put in if it was $1 or $2 games then ok but 10 and up should have more prize. I'm starting to thinking the chances that they have posted on the lottery website is false. Right now I'm losing...I'm down about $150.

Also got 3 Kings of Cash. 012-14. All 3 of them hit. 30-40-30.. I did play a bunch earlier though and lost, so this was only a mini recoup.. Batch # 8998.. Maybe tomorrow I will stop back there and see if it is a hot roll. However my roll hit 3 small in a row and then went on a long drought.However after the 5 in a row Casino Cash I had, I am tempted to drive back down there tonight. Darn lottery.lol Its a good 10 minutes each way though..hmmm..lol

Hey Skeptic, I've been good!! Busy, busy!!!! Man, I tell ya--- I have been tempted to try a few of those Cash Spectaculars. I've seen you post a few good ones over time..the star symbol for $500, etc.... 34 straight losers is awful. But I for one appreciate how you report on not only your incredible wins, but that you also report on the times you've had terrible losses, too. Thanks for always keepin' it real!!! 

Today I got a GRT and lost, got the next one and hit a Hundo. I spent it back on a losing Monopoly  (Which seems to be the worst game going in my area now) and then I got a couple other small wins, some more losers, etc.... ended up spending the money I started with, got decent mileage out of it though thanks to some small wins here and there---and then a pretty cool thing happened----nothing major but it felt good! I was putting gas in my car and a $5 scratcher was on the ground upside down---I could only see that it was a $5 game...I figured I'd pick it up and see if somehow it was a winner, and if not I'd throw it away because I can't stand when people litter.....well, that ticket matched #26 and was a Twenty dollar winner!!! Kinda cool!!!!! Especially for me since my plays are 90% twenty dollar games! Heck, I got a free play out of it!

Well, here's to hoping for a really big win sometime soon!!!!

Have you already cashed these in? Did you have the losers scanned anyway to check? I sell the lotto in GA and have heard grumblings about the scratch offs that they cant go more than 3x what the odds are without a winner? so if the odds are 1:4 you have to have a winner within 12 tickets. I am sure most of you guys already do this but ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS check the tickets even if you think you have lost.
