Dam got the last 5 $20 Monopoly on the roll all losers I know what that feels like. After my one profit day, got the last 4 Hot Tickets in the roll at Giant, and all lost. I am still in the general area having moved to around Royersford. So same stores. Maybe I'll try the 7-11, and maybe should have stuck to Money Vault, the only game where I have had a winner over $40 lately.

James--- Just to get back to your comment about #020 on Gold Rush: #20 is a special number for me in general. My dad passed away on August 20, 1991.... so I always look for number 20 also. In fact, first thing I do in a casino is head to the roulette table and put $20 on 20. Here's hoping we hit something BIG soon!!!

I notice your biggest win is $5K on Miami Heat and $2K on the emerald 8s. Care to share how you snagged those? A roll purchase or single buys ?

I started playing back in October sorta playing random games here and there, then I saw the web site with the remaining prizes, and I think it was your link that takes you to the rules. I went to the rules and saw that there were not many of the Heat/Magic tickets printed, and they had been out for a while so I gave them a try. Did buy some complete books, the store manager was keeping them in stock for me, then all the sudden no more tickets available. I was trying to hit the Heat or Magic grand prize, Im guessing that they are still in the vault at headquarters..I even sent the lottery an email asking about tickets and they said the game was ending, they finally disclosed that it was ending about 6 weeks after my email. The emerald 8 hit was just the right place at the right time, i had been playing 20 dollar tickets that day, and had 15 dollars left so I grab 3 emeralds and there it was. I tell myself I play older games, but the tripler and jubilee always gets me. Im really liking the casino action these days, gonna try to stick with that. biggest hit 10k, Jubilee, 5K Miami Heat, 2K Emerald 8s, 1k jubilee, 1k GRT, 1k heat wave, multiple 500's good luck in the chase

I went thru several rolls of Heat and Magic for those exact reasons and never won squat. Only got like $100-120 returns. Like you I was trying to hit the grand prize or $5K. I enjoy the older games also and buy rolls when I see them. I got $4K on Green & Gold and $1K on Ruby 7s both old games. I have terrible luck on the new games.

I'm posting this to help James1 My most recent good win is below and I've been blessed with quite a few. I usually NEVER spend more then $60 at a time, unless I haven't played in a couple of months in which case I may splurge and go to $80. I usually only play a $40 to $60 round every 2 to 3 weeks and I almost NEVER play more then one ticket per roll. If I want to buy 3 20 dollar tickets, I look for a game or two where a winner is due and I but 1 ticket from two or 3 different locations. The only game where I buy more then one ticket per roll is a 3 dollar Win for Life in Connecticut. Besides research , listen to that voice in your head, it works sometimes, but no need to spend a ton of money or buy dozens of tickets on a roll, if it's meant to be it will be. Recent winner below:

Hey everyone, back in the saddle. I gave up buying tickets for a while (since January) but when the Illinois Lottery came out with these new Chicago Cubs instant win tickets, I had to get back in.
My results are so so thus far. I purchased 1 at first and won $4.00 on the $2.00 Cubs ticket. Next time I bought 5 and only won $2.00. Today I bought 2 and didn't win anything and these are from a couple different locations.
I am hoping that I will get lucky and win the 1 in 1.6 million chance of winning season tickets for the Cubs for 2013. Does anyone know how many season tickets are actually avaiable to win? It doesn't state it on the back of the ticket just the odds.
Anyone from Illinois or other states have any luck with these baseball tickets? They are also selling Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals tickets in Illinois too. If you lose, you can use the ticket for a second chance drawing to win a trip to this year's Worlde Series... ILLotteryMan Signing Out
