519 is interesting. Tonight, New Year's Eve, was the 9th time that this number has won, and six of these wins have been on Fridays. This year's top winners were 161, 489, 620, and 655, with three wins apiece. The first of these, 161, is very special because, going into this year, 161 had only one win in 23 years. This year, two numbers (342 and 411) came up for the first time since the 1980s. The number 005 is the only remaining number that last won in the 1980s. Going into 2012, the only numbers left with one win are 005 (won 09-27-1988) and 903 (won 06-04-1990). However, 0903 came up in 2001. The first time that I won money from the lottery was in 2008--on Leap Year Day. In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play! | | |
