Interesting to see what happens. Might be a hoax. Whenever the jackpot is that big everyone "claims" to have a winning ticket. If is indeed true I hope they find it. Lottery commission will not pay unless there is proof, otherwise every Tom, Dick & Harry will claim to have lost a ticket. "We make a living by what you get, You make a LIFE by what you give!" Lottery commission will not pay unless there is proof, otherwise every Tom, Dick & Harry will claim to have lost a ticket. If the store has recorded video of him purchasing the ticket, that could be used as proof (with a big legal battle). Without that he's just one of millions of players who 'happened to misplace' the winning ticket.

So what would happen if the ticket is never found or claimed? "If you really want something in this life you have to work for it. Now quiet, they're about to announce the lottery numbers." - Homer J. Simpson

So what would happen if the ticket is never found or claimed? Is anyone else up for a road trip to start looking for it? ... What time and where should we meet?

Is anyone else up for a road trip to start looking for it? ... What time and where should we meet? Karinda, it's just way too early in the morning for you to have me LOL and shaking my head at the same time! Management, thanks for posting that video. I don't even know what to say about this one except it's not the first time and it won't be the last! If this guy's legit, then I guess he'll hire an attorney to get CTL to review his evidence (the store tape, time of purchase, etc) and declare him the winner - - - but I just don't see that happening. Correct me if I'm wrong but most states consider lottery tickets bearer instruments which means as long as that ticket is out there - anyone who finds it can sign the back, turn it in, and rightfully collect the money.

So what would happen if the ticket is never found or claimed? If he has other older tickets with the same combination showing he played the same combo for months and bought them at the same store and if nobody else claims the jackpot, he may have a shot.

I remember years ago when the "Win for Life" games started. People were making claims that they threw the ticket out. LOL,, they started emptying dumpsters, and I think they went into a landfill once. Never found anything.. Money is a terrible master, but a great servant...
