Take5 Schmake5! I know this is the T5 forum, but I got a little PB info for ya. I like crunchin' numbers. I'd eat 'em for breakfast if I thought they tasted good. Think the January 15th change to PowerBall hasnt made any difference to players? Think again. Prior to January 15th when they started charging 2 dollars per line in PB, they usually sold 21 to 22 million dollars worth of tickets for the starter 20 million dollar drawing. Now for the starter 40 million dollar drawing, they usually sell about 14 million dollars worth of tickets. They doubled the price per line, doubled the starting JP, decreased the odds a bit, and promptly lost 7 to 8 million dollars! I guess they make up for it when the JP gets big, which happens quicker now. Winning a Jackpot - unlikely but POSSIBLE! | | |
