February "06" was the largest Powerball jackpot to date, won by eight Nebraska meat workers. ($365 million). With the new structure and added ticket cost, doe's anyone think that this record will fall? How soon? It's already at $170 million now! When (if ever) or at what jackpot level will you reluctant players start forking over $2 to play? I'm going to go out on a limb and say 6 months. It has only been 16 day's into the new Powerball and it is practically half that already. If nobody hit's this Wednesday, the jackpot should climb another $50 million ($220 million). $2 ? Hell, I'm forkin' over $3 to play now. I want the max and that's why I'm always swingin' for the fences. That's cuz I know I might not win, but if I do, I don't wanna be thinkin' about that extra dollar I saved and the extra million I lost. I only play 2 lines so it ain't no big deal. I'm goin' for the Gusto. . I will not comply. I will never submit.

I admire your optimism LottoGuyBC! I actually think that the jackpot could reach over one half $BILLION DOLLARS or more this year alone. How many private luxury jets could that buy??? I recently got a new job so it's been difficult for me to find time to get to a store and get tickets since the new year started. I'll see if I can attempt a venture this weekend.

If it rolls on wednesday night I think it will be around $200 million so I don't think it will climb that fast because I think that their is still people who quit playing when they raised the price. But if it can get to $300 million in this run we will see more players come out and try their $2. Me I like to get the most for my money so I play $3. Good luck!-weshar75

What have you gotten for your $3 so far? Well I have not won a prize yet but I am still hopefull that I will win something. Plus if I lose the three dollars it is no big deal because I have budgeted that money in for my lottery spending for each month. Good luck!-weshar75

What have you gotten for your $3 so far? $12 Had 13 for a Powerball when it was drawn. It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery! Close doesn't count!
