When do you check your ticket?

Curious to see what other habits people have. I check to see where the jackpot and the 5+0's are. If they weren't in my state, I move on with my day. I may sit on a month's worth of tickets before checking them. I also double and triple check and still have a hard time conceding that they aren't winners.

I picked 1st thing in the A.M.

 don't want a big winner keeping me awake alnight.

I like that. My attitude is: there is still a chance I've won as long as I haven't checked my ticket.

I wait until the middle of the day/evening to check my tickets.  I check mine online and I figure if there was any mix-up/mistakes about the numbers they put up it would have been found out and corrected by that point.

I always check my online games (Fantasy 5, PowerBall, FL Lottery) the next day. I want to remain optimistic that I have a chance still throughout the night so when I wake up in the morning, I could be a mllionaire lol.

Scratchers I tend to check soon after buying them. Sometimes I will sit on those till next day also. If I find out I am holding a loser, I dont want to feel like I need to run up to the store to get the next in line. This also seems to save $$ also

I need to have three browsers open to three separate sources showing me the same numbers before I check a ticket.

       I have a Free App. for my phone if I'm not home . When I'm home I check the Louisiana Lotto web site . I never let a clerk at any store check my tickets to many unethical clerks  steal peoples winnings . When I cash in my winning pick 4 and pick 3  tickets , I always go to the same store . I underline my matching numbers and the amount won next to Winning Set .

I usually check the morning after on my cell phone by checking the lotto app.

I all the time go outside in the bright sun and check 'em with a magnifying glass to be sure.

But the strangest thing keeps happenin'.

They keep catchin' on fire!

I think it's got somethin' to do with the UFO's.
