All I have to say about the Powerball is that it's a Scam. Plain and simple. They charge double per ticket now, got rid of the multiplier, and the lower tier prizes are lower. AND they say the odds are better for winning even though they didnt take any numbers away ?!??! This is nothing short of greed and manipulation on behalf of the powerball lottery commision. They think people are stupid and will keep on playing mindlessly. I am boycotting the powerball.I've had enough of their BS. Don't Play more, Play Smarter!

I can understand your point if you're playing a lot of lines but for me, playing two lines and Powerplay, it's not all that unbearable - 4 bucks more a week. It used to cost me 8 bucks a week and now it costs me 12, no big whoop. You can't hardly get more'n 2 packs of smokes for that anymore. Glad I quit smokin'! . I will not comply. I will never submit.

There are 35 Pballs 4 less than before the matrix is 59 X 35 the old was 59 X 39. The odds are slightly better. The $2 price is the true rip. The doubling of the price without halving the odds is what f*^$$ pi$$e$ me off!

I really think the reason for the change is because both big games are available in almost all states now, and before the change they were basically the same game. MUSL does't make more money, directly, due to the increased ticket price. MUSL and the states make more money if there's more revenue, but if you don't want to pay the higher price, Mega Millions has a history of even bigger jackpots (and higher cash values). It isn't a scam or a ripoff; it's simply a different game offered to give variety. If they'd halved the odds it wouldn't have resulted in a larger average jackpot, which is what they're going for. Even with tonight's huge win, Powerball still doesn't have the record for the biggest jackpot, either cash or annuity. If you don't like the Powerball price point, then don't play. Mega Millions is more likely to get to these very high levels, and still costs $1. A higher average jackpot may result in more revenue for MUSL, but I do think they have a valid reason for the change, which is avoiding having duplicate games in almost every state.

As I said before, the lottery is rigged due to the fact that it's drawing happens after an hour has passed from the last ticket sold! The only way to crack their system is to see all the tickets the population have played that tallied up for that night, then u can see how the officials select the winning ticket from the pool of tickets played

In essence they are using the most random computer alive, which is our human brain to create the random tickets, then they select the winning tickets from the random tickets generated from the population .. So in theory they can choose where the winning ticket will be.. Which is unfair play! This is only theory, yet sound!

I think Powerball is rigged when they charge $2 per draw. If you really think it's rigged, you have a choice to not play, or play every other draw, or once a month, or once a year. Whatever...... CAN'T WIN IF YOU'RE NOT IN A DOLLAR AND A DREAM (OR $2)

Yep, most of the rigging is in the payouts and taxes.
In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a govnoment agency.

Buying 1 Powerball ticket is like donating $2 voluntarily to the government . Or think about it another way: $1.00 cannot be double your money but $2.00 can.

Or think about it another way: $1.00 cannot be double your money but $2.00 can. You actually double your money with $2 powerball.
