I'm curious to know if there is any info available on the percentage of second chance eligible tickets that are entered compared to thrown away. Also, I'm curious to know just how many winning tickets as a percentage are thrown in the trash? I've taken to hitting the stores trash bin after buying a few tickets to look for possible winners and second chancers. I'm amazed how many of both are thrown away. So far I've found hundreds of 2nd chance tickets and $40 worth of winners thrown away in the 3 days I started doing it. I think I may try to accumulate as much data as I can and post what my estimates are.
