I think Powerball should end the Powerplay option because one ticket now cost $2 per draw. By giving them $1 more for the Powerplay option makes them gamble more than expected. Players can cast their vote and answer this question: Do you think that Powerball should end the Powerplay option?

Well Ress.........IMHO, the choice of the powerplay option was already taken away from us by the mandatory doubling of the price......that extra dollar they added this time should have been an option for 3 or 4 or even 5 million.....It's like any game of chance, you can play or not. Leave the $3 option up there as a choice, you can always say no. I know I do Jackpots...Just Average Citizens Keeping Possibilities Open Towards Security

back in thw $1 days, you could always power play., infact you can powerplay any lotto game. just buy 2 tickets with the same numbers on. if you win you doulbe your prize! sound foolish, maybe you would rather buy 2 different sets of numbers and go for 2 chances at the pot. This extra dollar , will not make us or break us , or really change the way we play. Leave the players the option. Extra dollar , still a bigger dream.

Players can cast their vote and answer this question: Do you think that Powerball should end the Powerplay option? It's an option. Why limit choice? If you pay $3 for a Powerball ticket with Power Play, you expect to pay $3. How is that "more than expected?"

Right now if the topic gets locked, I think Powerball should keep the Powerplay option. I think the Powerplay option will make them gamble a little more, but they can win more.

I had never quite thought of it like that... 2 tickets like the fellas who bought 7 sets of the same tix and came away big winners. Still not quite what I would choose to do however...
