Tonites the first drawing of the new regional online game Lucky for Life. I say it's gonna be a hit! Tell me why you think it will or wont fly. Winning a Jackpot - unlikely but POSSIBLE!

Tonites the first drawing of the new regional online game Lucky for Life. I say it's gonna be a hit! Tell me why you think it will or wont fly. I think it will fly. NE is a tight crew and they enjoy homegrown stuff, at least all the Little Rhodies here do. All the buzz was on finally getting a game that would 'guarentee' winners that would benefit from local participation. I think they were telling me that they didnt like playing games where if THEY didnt win, that some other part of the country might benefit from THEIR dollar (2,5, 10+) spent. It kinda makes sense. I know I like the idea that my money goes toward local education (when I dont win). Please note that I said the IDEA of where my money goes, because realistically I have no idea if any of it actually goes toward education. Mass has a great method of letting people know where the money goes, by providing a map with dollar amounts that have been given back to the different towns (depending upon population). We don't do that in RI, but maybe some day we wll. (a girl can hope)

Just over a week into the inaugural start of this exciting game, already one jackpot winner and a couple of second tier prizes ($25,000). I think LFL is just getting warmed up!

We don't do that in RI, but maybe some day we wll. (a girl can hope) I think it's going to do well too. I hadnt thought of the local or regional benefit angle, but I can see that it makes players happy and therefore inclined to play the game. Lottery players living in mid-western states dont like to see MM or PB winners in New York, which they say happens dis-proportionally. That does happen quite a bit, but there are reasons why. A regional game like L4L will see winners comming from NE. But dont forget too that New York borders three of those 6 NE states, so a winner in the state of New York is very possible. I live in eastern NY, and I've played L4L twice. I bought the tickets in Connecticut, which is about 45 minutes away. I have reason to go to Ct fairly often, and when I do, I'll definitely play. I dont know if anyone won the Jackpot in Monday nites drawing. The first drawing did produce a JP winner. I told my 22 year old daughter to play the game. (She's the reason why I go to Ct often.) I'm 62, with any luck I might have another 20 years ahead of me. Hopefully she has 60 or more years ahead of her. If she does, and wins a JP now, she'd be set for life. That's the thing, young people are the players that should be playing this game. Somehow, I dont think as many younger people are playing it as there are us old fogies buying tickets. Should I ever be so blessed as to win the JP, I wont cash the ticket. My daughter will be "the winner". Also, Mass has the largest population (6.5 million) of the 6 ststes, so I think you'll see most winners from there and also Connecticut. (3.5 million residents) Sorry Rhody, but you're third. Vt is last with only 600,000. Winning a Jackpot - unlikely but POSSIBLE!

Bring it on!!!!..I love this game already (outside of the lower tier prizes)...a grand a day is a sweet proposition any which way you cut it. I wouldn't be shocked if it gains steam over time and adds more states and a bigger jp. "...Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes playing a poor hand well... That was nice of them to give the winning store 50k. I dont even think mm/pb gives them that much. and make your last check bounce.

I think this game is going to do very well. I've played the last 3 draws and won $15 each time. All 3 times i had 2 white balls and the lucky ball #. First time getting into the lottery, seems i'm doing ok so far so going to keep playing. Hoping one day, all my numbers will come up. Was feeling lucky last time i won so i bought 3 $3 dollar scratchers and won $50. I'm started to have a good feeling.
