Right now, the jackpot sizes are driving sales just as PB had hoped, only they don't have the larger jackpot as they had hoped. It may be with PB not attracting most of the casual players with its price, its jackpots may be lower most of the times. * The fundamentals of winning a lottery jackpot * * play a lottery you can win *

Lessee... for 1$ I can take a chance out on a 1/2B$ j/p prize... or for 2$ I can purchase a chance on a 50M$... think I will take that 2$ from over there (pointing to the PB lottery fund pile) and place it over HERE (pointing to the MM lottery pile)... So for 2$ I can get 2 extra chances on my 1/2B$ prize. (c&z are affecting sales - priCe and priZe)

I agree. I havent bought any powerball tickets since the increase. The economy is in the tank, why double the price? For $2, I get 2 shots at either the MM or my state lottery, or one of each. Been buying only MM, no powerball.

We only have Powerball and state lottery here in Florida. So I am taking my money to Georgia. Time to rollback the price to $1. Boycott MUSL and support your state lottery!

I wonder if Powerball will now get more takers now that Mega Millions is back to normal. Of course, all Powerball has to do is last past four draws now LOL.
